Very accurate. I have tested in different rooms with different temperatures. It may take some time to be adjusted to the actual room temperature, but beats many digital thermometers in the market in aspect of accuracy. Also, a mercury thermometer is much cheaper. The only disadvantage is that it has limited viewing angles. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

Better quality than I thought it would be although the way they have glued in the glass tube makes it difficult to read where the level is, you have to close one eye and look at it from an angle to see it fully, I would fix it but it has a fare amount of glue holding it and I wouldn't want to break the glass tube and potentially hurt myself, It will probably come loose over time so I will fix it if it lasts that long.

Now broken, thermometer came loose.?

Poor design quality. The mercury tube and bulb run along a groove in the wood but the bulb overhangs a recess. Therefor any pressure on that point would snap the bulb rendering the item useless. Possibly damaged delivering the package through letter box however the design and quality are poor and proves the old adage that 'you get what you pay for' therefor I would recommend spending a bit more to get a better quality item.

Arrived promptly and in pristine condition. The fabrication is sturdy and is easy to read. Does exactly what it should and well priced. Perfect for the job not a battery in sight. Very pleased. I bought two.
