It was easy to install. Plants seem to really like the light. I love the built in timer. The timer comes on every morning at the same time and turns off at the same time at night, so no need for me to turn it on and off. The light does cover a good amount of space for the size. Quality of the product seems to be good. I don’t have any issues with the light getting too hot and I have the light on for 14 hours a day.

Really loving these so far! The versatility of the hanging options really makes them appealing for homes. I had to jury rig them to a plant hanger I also got off Amazon, since I'm not allowed to really drill much in my rental, but the long cable these lamps come with really helped create a stylized effect even using the plant hanger I got! The light itself is powerful and really gives ample coverage to the areas that it's meant to cover. I miscalculated and bought two for the areas I wanted to cover when realistically one for each was more than enough! No regrets though as it just means I have backups or can expand my plant location options! Can't really speak to the lifespan just yet, but I'll review again in the future if it becomes an issue. My only gripe with any of the Barrina lights currently is that they're not really made for smart homes quite just yet. While the built in timer is convenient to a certain degree, it's not quite "there" when it comes to adding genuine convenience. An example is that I'd love to have the versatility of integrating it into my smart home so that the lights turn on when a sensor detects low-light conditions during daytime, rather than on a fixed timer, since all my plants are in south facing windows in a rainy city. That means these lights are only meant to be complementary. This would vastly improve my energy efficiency with them. Food for future product development thought if it's not already in Barrina's production pipeline!

Clicks on and off after the set number of hours with no deviation, not a single hiccup. Nice and bright and has a very long cord. Simple design, white color blends right in; your focus is on the plants, not the lighting setup. If you have a lot of plant areas in your house, plan to pick up several of these instead of floor or clip units or grow bulbs, etc. UPDATE MAY 6: Timer has become random. It loses time (initially wasn't a big deal) but yesterday never came on at all. There were no power blips to explain. It has to be manually reset.

I can't say enough good things about this light. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for the office. I have a majesty palm under it with the setting on 14 hrs. The palm is thriving despite them having a difficult reputation. It's attractive and very bright! You could probably burn a sensitive plant if the light is too close. I love that it can be configured for different lengths of time. If the power goers out it does have to be reset, which means waiting until the next morning and remembering to turn it on and hit the schedule button again at like 7am so that it stays on until 9pm. I did NOT want to spend so much for a plant light, but just do it. It won't disappoint like some of the cheaper ones I've tried. I've had mine about 8 months and no issues. I'm rating a 3 out of 5 specifically due to the timer. This is the first time I've purchased this light with the timer and its not worth it. When I use the timer either the light randomly shuts off or wont ever turn off. But it is a bright wonderful light that my Albo Monstera loves and if I have to manually turn it on and off ao be it. Edit: I am changing my review to 5/5. The company reached out and offered to send me a new grow light. This is stellar customer service.

I had this grow light for about one year before it stopped working. I reached out to Barrina for a replacement and they did not hesitate to send a new one, though it wasn’t the exact same. I appreciate the good customer service but wish the quality lasted longer, especially as these are LED.

I love these grow lights so much I’ve already put up 3 in my house. They’re super easy to hang, assuming you have a drill and a step stool, and go up in less than 15 minutes. They look really nice up, I have mine in corners so the cord runs down the wall perfectly. And most importantly my plants love them! They put out enough light that it lights up my entire plant stand easily and my plants are thriving!

These work so well! Plants are thriving in the winter in a dark corner of the room. Just make sure the light isn’t too close to plants.

This review is for Barrina pendant grow light updated version. 1. I am in Canada. The entire transaction was at the top notch professional level of service. Fast shipping (before the estimated arrival time), great communication with seller, and reasonable price for elite product. 2. I am now planning to change my entire grow light collection (not Barrina and they are clip on lights) to these Barrina lights that will last a decade or more longer than what I have, in addition to what the Barrina pendant light offers. 3. I had a very dark corner of my house (see the photo) that regular clip on lights could not keep up with (plants were not growing). The new light replaced ALL OF THEM and even in a week of being cared by this new light, they already look better. I opted not to use a hanging hardware for now, but rather used an old tripod stand. The light is brightest bright, but also the whitest most beautiful light ever. In addition to helping plants grow, it is elevating the aesthetics of my room. It also helps with my seasonal affective disorder. So easy to set up and the timer works perfectly. The whole system looks extremely well done, does not overheat and makes me comfortable in terms of fire safety etc. 4. I read all the other reviews prior to purchase. Here some things that people were confused about, FOR NO REASON. THE 14 HOUR LIGHT SETTING IS ONE OF THE BEST FEATURES IF YOU UNDERSTAND HOW IT WORKS ….NOT 14 on, 14 off, but IT WORKS 14 hours, THEN SHUTS OFF FOR 10 hours….if you choose that setting of course…. The red light indicator is great to glance at when light is not on, it gives you confidence that it is plugged in and ready to work when needed. Unlike other lights, it is not annoyingly bright indicator that blinks and blinks. 5. I now recommend this light on all my gardening groups and plant groups as people know how critical and picky I usually am, but this Barrina pendant light (upgraded version) is SECOND TO NONE.

I put this in my bathroom with very high ceilings. Easy install, and the hight can be adjusted over and over with ease. I put in my bathroom with no windows for plants who come home new and need to be quarantined for a whole or who aren’t doing well and need bright light. Timer works great, looks great and happens to be a good light to do my makeup under! I will be purchasing a second for my fiddle tree for winter!

Well put together product! Light is very very bright! I sure hope it will help my English Ivys grow new leaves! After bringing the ivy in around the end of summer/beginning of fall, it's not getting nearly as much light as it once received outside. As a result, many of the leaves start to turn yellow and fall off. Although my windows face south, not enough light reach them for a long period of time. The grow lights do indeed give off a chemical like smell that fills the air when they first heat up. Thankfully, this only occurs once/twice during the initial power-up, and then only barely noticeable the second time the light is turned on. To give you an idea... it smells like some kind of fertilizer... Almost like horse or cow poop in a barn. As mentioned, it does go away after the first or second use... just a very odd gas/chemical like smell. I hope as intense as these lights are that they last a long long time. I will update this review on the effectiveness of this grow light after a few weeks of use! :)

This is my first time trying a grow lamp. I didn't know what to expect. It's amazing!! I lost two-thirds of a beautiful new plant because my kitchen doesn't get enough light. Within a month, not only did the plant stop turning yellow and losing leaves, but it had new growth! The lamp is solid with a sturdy and long cord. I set the timer to nine hours each day and after a few days it remembered and began auto-starting each morning and turning itself off, so I just let it be. I hung it from the ceiling and it is very bright so I bought a lampshade. Now it looks like a nice decoration and is no longer blinding. I wish I bought the two pack.
