Subtle Sweetness
This fragrant black tea has the subtle flavor of lychee fruit infused into the tea. Delicious to enjoy either hot or cold. Two infusions from each measurement of leaves. This is my favorite go-to black tea. I have ordered it in the tins (which are nice for the office, travel, etc.), but being able to order it in bulk by the pound on subscription is ideal. How delightful to be able to have the tea delivered to my door ;-)

tasty
This smells wonderful and tastes great. Word of warning - don't use boiling hot water, it'll make it bitter and somehow makes the lychee taste artificial. I use it at 175 degrees water temp and it is wonderful. I do have to say that the picture listed shows dried pieces of lychee in the leaves and what arrived here was just flavor/oil infused leaves with no white bits. No matter, it still smells and tastes great - thought I'd mention it though, in case that matters to you

Does Not Have a Lichee Berry Flavor
I do not see nor do I taste any lichee berries in this tea. This happens to be my favorite tea. I am very familiar with the flavor as well as being able to see the actual berries dispersed amongst the tea leaves. Neither the flavor or the berries are present. It only tastes like an unfamiliar black tea. I think that normally the lichee berries are mixed with Oolong tea. This does not even taste like oolong tea. Poor quality.

Love this tea!
Love this naturally sweet, rich tea! And I think The Tao of Tea is the best brand for Lychee tea--smooth. It's my morning tea, with just a little sweetener (Lychee doesn't take as much as you may be using in, say English Breakfast), and a little milk.

Not the same as the smaller tin of Lychee Tea
I've been drinking the Tao brand lychee black tea for a while, it's a personal favorite. I was excited to see a 1-lb. bag, since it would allow me to order less frequently. Alas, it's definitely not the same mixture of tea. This has some kind of peach flavor added. Maybe there was a mix-up at the factory, but side-by-side taste tests with my remaining tin of lychee tea shows a distinct difference.
