I have a bunch of apple trees in my back yard, so I decided to make hard cider this year. It turned out really good, but I wanted an easy way to carbonate it without having to worry about bottle-bombs. This is a very high-quality unit, all stainless-steel keg with an easy-to-understand CO2 regulator. It takes about 3 CO2 cylinders to fully carbonate 2 gallons of cider - the first two do the initial carbonating and the third one keeps the cider fizzy while it is consumed. I keep it in my garage refrigerator, and it fits just fine.

Got for my husband’s birthday and he loved it. Only issue is the cartridge leaks so you gotta use them right away

I use this to serve mead at my homebrew club once a month, its incredibly convenient and I've filled and emptied it at least 4 times since december. It preserves taste, is incredibly durable, does not leak, and makes very efficient use of the CO2 cartridges. The capacity is great for serving small amounts of wine or mead, but beer would go a lot faster out of it. It works as advertised and im very glad to have gotten it.

Leave charged up 24 hours for co2 to get in brew and perfect draft poor. Very much like this in my refrigerator no leaks works perfect 2 gallons plus is nice .

My husband loves this! He started making beer a few months back and I thought this would make for a great Christmas present.
