XURON441 Thread & Cord Scissor

These scissors couldn't be any better. I was getting so frustrated trying to use a lesser capable pair of snips. Sometimes they would would work ok, but most often not. When I use these, they cut without the smallest hesitation. No sawing or having to try and cut again and again. And the pointed tip makes it easy to cut precisely every time. There doesn't need to be any tension on the thread for them to cut cleanly. I use mostly Fireline 8 pound for my beading and it cuts so cleanly, I no longer have trouble threading it thru a number 12 beading needle. I can't stop myself from smiling every time I use these. I have purchased uncountable pairs of scissors trying to get a pair that would cut Fireline quickly and cleanly. And a pair that would cut close to the beaded item without fraying. These are the ONLY ones that do exactly that. I absolutely love these cutters. They far exceed even their description. The only small thing I wish they had was a cover for the points and a lock to keep them closed when I'm not using them. But I solved this by cutting a short piece of tubing that fits up to the handle and a little beyond the points. This keeps them closed and the points protected. But I would buy these again in a heartbeat if I happen to lose these.

These cutters work extremely well with the Fireline fishing line I use for beading. I mostly bead with the Peyote Stitch using Miyuki Delica 11/0 glass beads and this cutter can cut precisely very close to the bead so the thread disappears into the beadwork. I was previously using a thread burner but this works just as well and is easier to use. Other cutters can shred the Fireline and don't keep sharp. These are excellent.

I highly recommend, but I have snipped the eye off several needles by trying to snip my thread too close to the needle, so be careful, the are very sharp.

These are the best scissors I have every used for cutting fireline, wildfire and dandy line I have ever used. I have spent a small fortune on other scissors and am happy to say the Xuron - 441 Thread & Cord Scissor will be last pair I will buy.

Can’t go wrong with xuron! This cutter cuts through anything! I use it on wire, elastic cord, and thread. Very precise as well- I’m able to cut extremely close to knots on elastic cord, getting rid of excess ends. It’s a great buy!

This product is the absolute perfect tool for jewelry making. It will save you a lot of grief.
