Error display
Product worked fine at start of my European trip. I could easily see does and time instead of poor Fiat display. However when going through several tunnels while travelling into Italy the speed disappeared. So switched from GPS to OBD and all then ok for Week until I noticed an error on my fist display. I assumed this was caused by switching to OBD which proved to be the case. Back to GPS but after another week or two the display kept resetting itself. Have tried going back to OBD and also using the USB cable but still no joy. Note two and a half months in and out of warranty I’ll have to throw it in the bin as too late for warranty😢

interesting but not necessary
The media could not be loaded. this is a car head up display which support obd2 or gps mode, it works with all vehicle, just stick it on console top, it projects very bright led light to wind screen and a variety of information will be shown, i think it’s an interesting gadgetit’s easy to install, 2 cables are included, obd2 to mini usb and usb-a to mini usb, for obd2 connection there are more information i can get (rpm, fuel consumption, etc) for usb-a connection, i can only get information from gps modetested it for a couple of rides, i think it’s a gimmick than something essential, honestly i’m quite worry that it may distract other drivers on the road, as this head up display is very bright and sometimes it flashes, and a quick running bar during start up, the light is especially eye catching in the darkmost of those information i can obtain from car dashboard, so this gadget may not be necessary

You get what you pay for.
Cheap, but not the best.

Brilliant
I really can't believe how good this product is, took all of 15 mins to fit to my VW t5.1 camper van, especially for the price and this is from someone with 47 yrs experience in the motor trade!(I purchased this as my camper has no temperature gauge but this shows speed and water temperature)

Not good for hybrids
Worked fine in my normal car but bad in a hybrid

RK is wrong about the blurring
RK is not using the supplied polarising film on the windscreen. Hence he gets the blurring. This means the double refraction does not occur. The film has a slight tint to also assist in day time viewing. It may take a few tries to locate the film for best viewing. Overall this is a good product when used in OBD2 mode especially. The film is see through so not an mot issue especially if you have it low in the windscreen. If RK thinks a clear/slightly tinted film would fail an mot what about the GPS units and phone holders placed in the windscreen that are not see through.

A counterintuitive design with limited practical use.
The unit itself is quite small and discreet and doesn’t take up much space on the dashboard. It’s quite plasticky and cheap feeling. The connection wire has to trail over to either a USB port (if using the GPS connection) or the OBD port (if using the vehicle’s telemetry system). There are two connection ports to choose from, one on the side and one on the bottom edge. When the unit is in place, the control buttons are on completely the wrong side of the unit, which prevents easy access and limits the adjustments you can do on the move, which is both impractical and annoying. This in my view is a major flaw with this unit if you want to alter the settings frequently as you have to take the unit off the dashboard. The projected display is blurry, but readable and is very difficult to read in bright sunlight. Conversely, it is much more readable in dull or dark conditions and some might say it’s too bright in the dark. A small piece of clear adhesive plastic provided in the box may help with this, but I don’t want to put anything on my windscreen that could interfere with normal visibility or cause the car to fail an MOT.The best thing about this unit for me was having the ability to have a speed in KPH displayed whilst driving a UK vehicle on the continent which only had a speedo reading in MPH. Lots of other information available via the unit is largely a distraction and is not recommended for safe driving in my opinion.Overall the unit does have some practical applications, but the blurry display and the button position prevent me from being able to wholeheartedly recommend it.
