Takes a bit to assemble, but fairly easy so long as you really study the diagram's. Sturdy can use in the corner or flat against the wall(with ancers).

The quality of this bookcase is far beyond what I was expecting. The boards are heavy and rich looking. It's true what all the reviews say about the assembly being time consuming, but it's well worth it since the precision of every drilled hole and piece of hardware is spot-on. The alignment of the two halves leaves little to no margin for error, but don't worry - they will slide together perfectly if you start with the corners as instructed. It's best to have 2 people assembling this, but I'm a 54 y/o woman and I had no problem doing it alone. If you are assembling by yourself, I would recommend breaking the steps up a bit more instead of trying to lift and align the entire top cubicle at once. Excellent value for the price!

Amazing book shelf, I had to have time one help me put it together so that was the only downside. It comes In a lot of pieces so use patience when assembling.

I would have given this product a 5 Star however upon arrival I was missing about a quarter of the screws and was a little disappointed I couldn't get it set up on the same day. I tried to reach out on the email provided in the instructions but got no response so I had to contact them through Amazon. The missing parts ended up arriving a week after I had already received the bookcase and had it half-built. In the end, I would say it turned out great. It's very sturdy and I like the fact you can adjust the two separate pieces to your desired length. I decided on keeping both of mines fully pushed together but it's totally up to you. It was also pretty simple to put together with the help of another person, wouldn't recommend putting together alone unless your 6ft or taller as you do have to lift up a few pieces on top of each other. Overall great product I would just recommend checking all you have all your parts before you get started on building.

I'm pretty handy and don't usually have issues assembling anything, but this was next level. It's not intuitive in the least, and the directions were pretty useless. Ended up having to disassemble twice.

I'm 5'2" 72 year old woman. I did this solo. Took me 45 minutes per quarter section and another 20 min to put the sections together . I moved slow to insure my pieces were AS PICTURED in the book. I'd advise you do as I did and lay the 2 sections that go together on the floor and then set up. Lifting is too difficult when it comes to joining. Granted I have put dozens of assembled furniture pieces in my life and the only thing about this that is intimidating is the size. Instructions are excellent...again, lay out exactly as shown on pictures. The end result is lovely. Good luck.

The media could not be loaded. This does not fit properly. It takes about 3 hrs for it to be made. Instructions and labeling is not proper. After doing all the work we found out it does not fit properly.
