It leaks!
After our new puppy dog destroyed our two decades-old plastic watering cans, I decided to look for a good metal one. I couldn't, however, find any on which at least a few reviews said they leaked, one thing that a watering can should not do, so I decided to return to a plastic one. Guess what - once again, all ordinarily-priced ones had some poor reviews mentioning leaks. On going up market, doubling the price, I finally found this one at over £20, more than most metal ones. Though it only had a few reviews, around twenty, they were all very good to excellent, 4* or 5*, so I went for it and paid the premium price. Better quality, right - you get what you pay for.Apparently not really! This one leaks too, straight from the box, after screwing on the spout and adding the rose. There's a sort of already fixed on washer/O-ring, obviously meant to seal the joint between the spout base of the can and the screw-on spout itself but, no matter how tightly (or not) you screw the spout on, water leaks from the joint. This means that you can't store the can with any water in it, even over night, especially in your shed or otherwise indoors. It also can be said that it is obviously not fit for its only purpose of holding and pouring water. Our decades-old cheapish plastic cans never leaked and I would've expected nothing less from an expensive new one. Had it been perfect, I would've bought a second one to remain a two can family.I hate the hassle of returns for faults so I'll not bother for this, as the can is just about usable, albeit with drips and dribbles. However. it is definitely not recommended, particularly at this expensive end of the plastic can market price.I would suggest to the manufacturer that, if they read this, they fully test joints and seals before supplying. Perhaps the supplier should contact them accordingly.

Love it, but ....
Ok it's expensive, but it's a cheerful colour and is good size. It will cheer me up when gardening - better than the usual muddy coloured watering cans.UPDATE: the arm fixing isn't secure no matter how much you tighten it and despite the rubber washer inside, so it leaks! Have had to glue and tape the joint which has solved it, but that's just not acceptable. I needed it so kept it as I fixed the problem, but not pleased for that price and having to screw the arm into the main body is a daft idea anyway and it should be, like other watering cans, one moulded item with no joins involved.
