I overheat every easily. This is a blessing. could not fine something that works better to cool me down if i tried. It really brings ,y blood pressure down fast and cools me down. love fact it comes with extra bags. it is odd, more a product that is flat where you have to wet the strings that turn to ice in freezer than already filled liquid. but if traveling it does pack better, I am very pleased.

Wore this today and it was awesome. In 87 degree heat it only lasted 45 minutes but I had 2!!!

This kept me cool while playing tennis in a heatwave. The insert stayed frozen for about a half an hour, but the replacement inserts stayed frozen for several hours in my small cooler bag, and I was able to get a fresh one whenever I needed it. When the heat wave was over and the temperature dropped to the high 70s, one insert stayed mostly frozen for the whole time.I withheld a star because the ends aren't very long and I had trouble unknotting them when I was changing sides and needed a fresh insert. I learned my lesson and tied a square knot the next time, but I think Velcro might be an improvement. It's awkward for me to tie a square knot without looking:)

I ordered a few different neck cooling devices to find what worked. Some were too heavy (some ice packs and one you fill with ice water). This one works, but not as well as the u-shaped ring you freeze. This one you need to tie so it doesn't fall off, but then it naturally slides so the tie is on the back of your neck. The mesh keeps the ice from directly touching your neck, but between that and the shape of the ice packs, with the separated bubbles (which lets it be flexible when frozen), I felt like not much ice touches your neck at all. The blue fabric is a cheap fuzzy fabric that snags in your fingers and is not particularly cooling, which is what I'm going for. To be fair, this does work - the beads hold water for a while, and so long as you froze it for several hours first, it will keep its cold temperature well. I just would prefer other similar products.

I have an older dog who has a few health issues (hypothyroidism, a heart issue, etc). Living in the midwest, summers can be hot and heat is an issue for him. We have tried the dog cooling bandanas which didn't do much.I saw these, and a review for someone using these on their dog and went, why not.The ice packs them selves are easy to use, they come as flat strips, that you lay in water, and they fill/puff up. I did 3 of the 6 I got (if we travel it'll be easier to take a few flat ones). Then pop in the freezer. It stays cool for quite awhile.To get it to stay on I did use a snap press and add a few snaps. While my dog does not like jackets, sweaters and the like he wags and will go and sit by the fridge until we get this out on warmer days. I wish I'd have seen it sooner. For the price, it is more affordable than the bandanas that just don't seem to do anything (and aren't much more than a glorified wet bandana).

This item has changed my daily life for someone who suffers from neck damage a car accident, but still needs to get to work and run her day. I throw this on and it brings instant comfort I go to bed. It’s so comfortable. It’s one of the best ice packs you could get I actually bought another for a friend please I highly recommend this to keep in your house first staple it could be for your neck your wrist, I highly recommend this !!!!!

This only cools you off as it goes from ice to water. Doesn’t evaporate quickly to cool you off after. :-/

As a woman in her early 50s, I was looking for something quick to take the edge of my hot flashes. This 'Wraptor' is great, and I love that it comes with several ice pack strips. It's easy to switch them out. I haven't yet, but it should also be useful on the sidelines of my son's lacrosse games. I think the ice will stay pretty frozen if thrown in the cooler. I don't like the fabric of the cover though. It is almost felt-like, but that kind of prickly fiber that sticks to your fingers a bit...I'm not sure how to describe it, but if you know you know--almost like some cheap pajamas were in the 80s...I think it's going to be full of pilling pretty quickly. Cuter colors/patterns would be nice too.
