get rid of unwanted emf exposures
The media could not be loaded. this is a emf meter which is for measuring strength of electromagnetic field around the location, it’s powered by a 9v battery (included) it’s not very big size, lightweight, comfortable to hold in one hand, its shape like a walkie talkie with a big antennait’s well built, durable, black matte plastic housing with non-slip grip on both sides4 function buttons on the front panel, pretty easy to understand and use, after powered on it’s ready to use, there are 3 units of emf reading (mg, ut and v/m) selectable by the sel button, the sound alert could be enabled when the reading exceeded safe value, led display is large and clear enough to readalso it equipped with display backlight, little torch and ambient temperature functionthere is a tripod hole for secure the device on tripod, for constantly measure emf at particular location, there is a max function to keep the reading stay at maximum level, however the device will be turned off automatically after 10 minutes when there is no reading change, i wish it could keep power on so i could monitor the emf for days as long as the battery lasti’m glad that this device helped me discovered so many devices in my room are emitting emf, and i was quite surprised that the emf reading of the air purifier near my bed is so high, i should keep it further away when sleepingall in all, i’m very happy with this product, easy to use by non-professional like me, would definitely recommend, it helped me a lot to be aware of unwanted emf exposureshope you find these information helpful

Good quality and seems to be very sensitive
The media could not be loaded. I bought a cheap EM meter a few years ago to try and see if our Microwave was safe to use. It didn't really register much so I never felt confident that it was sensitive enough to provide any realistic readings. This new unit is just the opposite, it seems highly sensitive and therefore I feel far more confidence that it's giving me realistic numbers when detecting electromagnetic activity. In fact it's so sensitive that it can identify EM coming from power cables in the wall, though not as accurately as say, a stud detector might, as in this case the reading reduces slowly as you move it away from where the cable runs. Placing it next to a charging portable glue gun and the reading shoots up into the 300s and it starts to beep a warning, indicating a high electromagnetic field. It's powered by a PP3 battery (included) and has a couple of level settings, plus a current temperature indicator which can be changed to C or F. There's also a small torch light included. This seems like a well made good quality device, with an easy to read display (which is backlit) and simple controls. It's well worth a look for anyone that needs a fast and reliable reading of electromagnetic radiation and the price at around £32 is appropriate, given that cheap models really don't work very well, at least in my experience.

An EMF detector that is fine for use around the home – covers 2.4GHz & mobile phone masts etc
This Electromagnetic Field Detector by JOAUIAX is a specialist device that can be useful if you know what it does – I have an engineering background so knew what it did but still needed a bit of online research to make sense of some of the readings. The meter is powered by a nine volt battery, which is supplied, this is the type that smoke alarms and some older radios used. This JMET01 model covers 5Hz to 3500MHz so can detect many household devices and see if any harmful radiation may be being generated – many domestic devices operate in the 2.4GHz band (2400MHz) so could be detected, but two-band Wi-Fi also uses 5GHz (5000MHz) so is out of range of this meter. For the average user the most useful feature will be for checking the microwave oven (2.4GHz) for leaks, and checking the range and power of the lower Wi-Fi frequency of their router (also 2.4GHz). If you find high levels of EMF at other frequencies you will need to do some research into your other equipment or local area phone masts for example. At around thirty quid currently from Amazon this is not really a professional measuring instrument but it does pick up EMF and has a few handy features – perfectly OK for domestic use and quite fun too; not sure about use for ghost hunting! Five stars for build quality and features at the price – but shouldn't be an impulse buy if you don't understand what it does.

If you need an EMF meter, then this is fine.
This is a rather specialised piece of kit, and I can only think of three reasons one would one. The first would be a technician who evaluates product safety. Even shops that sell second-hand microwaves have to have them tested for radiation leaks. The second one is people like me that are a hobbyist and like this sort of thing. The last person is the good old ghost hunter. This unit arrives in a retail box along with a battery and some instructions. The instructions are more of a specification sheet than anything else. If you need help, look on the internet. It’s nice to see a battery being included, and it only takes a second to install it in the unit. It’s a PP3 battery. The unit feels nicely made and rugged enough for regular use. It has just 4 buttons for control, so some of the buttons double up. The display is a standard black on grey LCD and does have a backlight that can be turned on. The digits are nice and large, and easy to read, but the units display is very small. The unit can measure mG, µT, and V/M. mG is milliGauss, µT is microTeslas, and V/M is voltage per metre. If you don’t know what these are, then take a look on the internet. It’s far too complicated to explain here. The ghost hunting part if very controversial. It is believed in the ghost hunting community that spirits give off electrical energy, and this can be detected by an EMF meter. They further believe that the ambient temperature will drop at the same time, and so this meter measures that as well.Overall, if you need an EMF meter, then this is fine. I hope that helps.
