Would like to rate it more than 5 Star
Read this book in 2 days and already reading it again. I would recommend this to anyone keen to really understand themselves as a trader and deeply keen to develop their trading. As I read it a second time, I’m realising even more what an outstanding piece of work this is. The simplicity which Steven manages to bring to what are complex themes and topic is quite remarkable, and so often I see myself in the stories and anecdotes he shares. It’s as if we was with me sometimes as I traded.I cannot stress how much this was a book I have always needed. I feel I will be referring back to it many times in the future. Thanks Steven.

Practical Advice
I will start by saying that having met Steven and talked to him at a trading conference, I was really looking forward to this book to see how he would distil his years of knowledge & experience into just a few hundred pages.Steven is a very engaging speaker, has years of practical experience of both trading and coaching and is very honest about what it takes to succeed as a trader. The book doesn't disappoint at all.Steven presents a practical framework for dealing with the psychological challenges that we all face as traders, that can be used by beginner and experienced trader alike. As each stage of the framework is presented and explained, examples are given of situations when Steven himself or one of his clients has faced a particular issue and how he used the framework to deal with it and find a solution.A thoroughly enjoyable read that I finished in a few days whilst on holiday and am now re reading so that I can make notes and apply the framework to my own trading.I would highly recommend this book, not just for traders, but for anyone in a high performance environment where mindset & psychology are key to success.

Having read lots of books on trading mentality I can honestly say this one is the best I have read.Having spoken to a few successful traders over the years, it’s obvious that being successful and explaining what it takes to be successful is like night and day. Steven Goldstein has managed to explain exactly what you to succeed through easy to understand diagrams which are thoroughly explained in detail with no need for any padding. If you’re new to trading or a bit more experienced this book is a must.

Great advice and guidelines for any Trader Jo matter how experienced.
So I have been trading for 20years and thought I had read all the best Trading books out there. After 20years you learn a lot the hard way and wish had read and worked on the advice in Steve Goldstein’s book when I first started Trading. That said I really truly think Steve’s focus on the Letting Go stages of trading are critical and something I still struggle with massively. This book is a must read for all Traders who genuinely want to better themselves no matter how experienced.

A book every trader should read!
I have just finished reading Mastering the Mental Game of Trading. I found every page and every paragraph insightful. I'm still making mistakes but now I have the knowledge of why this is happening. I plan the trade but I don't always trade the plan. One of my biggest faults is taking small profits while making my first morning coffee, only to see the trade run to target. I now have a journal which I fill out most days. With your help, I feel I have become a better trader in a very short time (compared to my 37 years in the market). Thanks Steve.

Best Psychology book on trading I’ve read
Have been trading for 14 years now and this is the best psychology book I’ve read. The fact that the author traded himself prior to getting into coaching made it very easy to relate to the examples given in the book. Couldn’t recommend it more. Daragh Hopkins
