You can spend a lot more, but I didn't need to. Easy to assemble, light works great - good remote - lots of options. Great value - everyone mentions that the stand is lightweight - true that's why it wasn't $175. Would buy it again.

Ease of setup, sturdy, and super bright

I love the softbox I may get another one but it provides great lighting on its own. The light does not hurt my eyes Thank God! It is a game changer for my podcast! The only thing missing batteries for the remote.

I teach online and create on demand workouts. I've worked for the last 2-1/2 years with only a ring light. This box light changed my video lighting completely. It's so much easier to pick up my movements with this - less shadows.

Got this soft box to set up a photo booth for a wedding. It works and has good light, but there aren't a lot of adjustment options, it is a little flimsy and the round plastic piece that holds the bulb and pushes the fabric back to make the shape of the box, blocks the plug in for my flash trigger. I ended up having to use wire strippers to take the backing off my trigger flash jack to fit it in. The design could be better, but served it's purpose for the make shift photo booth.
