Quick delivery of a robust, thick and healthy Scoby and starter liquid which has produced an excellent surface Scoby and smells delicious. Using a 23" x 6" Ultratherm Heat Mat with a heat probe attached to the side of a 2- gallon Anchor Hocking drink dispenser with spigot. Temperature controlled at 80 F with aHerpstat 2 Spyder Robotics thermostat. Outside of the heat pad insulated with strips of Redford Cold Snap Insulation Tape and the ends and edges of the mat held in place with wide Frogtape.

It came with two healthy SCOBYs that I killed lmao. Don’t be like me, follow the directions they give you. I made too much tea and didn’t have enough starter liquid so it grew mold and I had to compost it 😭 be better than me. I didn’t mind paying what I paid for it when I thought it was the only option, but I ended up getting the one I have now for free from someone in a local gardening group on facebook.

Work well and grow very fast in my Kombucha. In just a couple of week they have tripled in size to cover the top of the jar I have them in.

I have brewed kombucha for years. I’ve never had an issue. Stopped making it due to a busy schedule in 2024 and decided to start back this year. This product turned moldy pretty quick. Waste of money and time buy at your own risk.

This is a really great deal for the money. It is super easy to set up just go by the directions. What really made me go Wow is the Scoby is absolutely huge I was expecting one maybe half that size it is beautiful. This kit will perform and taste really great. Kombucha is super easy give it a try it is fun and tasty.

Scoby was in great shape. Not very much starter, but that’s ok. They get one less star because their recipe, printed on the bag, is horrible. Way too much tea to sugar. Made the kombucha bitter. I usually follow a recipe off Pinterest, but since this was the recipe that came with my scoby, I thought I would try it out. Still, healthy scoby is what I needed after moving.

Received in a very timely and well packaged to make sure you receive a good start to your Kambucha production! It will come in a package that looks like it’s ready to explode ( be careful when you open the package). It comes this way to protect and to make sure it’s healthy don’t worry it’s not spoiled!It’s produced many gallons of great tasting Kambucha for me 👍👍
