You will be surprised
I broke my Samsung s21 ultras screen and didn't have £300 to fix it. So I brought this phone to keep me going until I can upgrade. But I might just keep this tbh. It's almost as fast as my Samsung, it's a little clunky and a little slower when you are toggling multiple screens etc.its a little smaller screen size. And the camera is rubbish compared a Samsung. But it's 15mp, what do you expect! Charge lasts me 2 days and I use my phone A LOT. Feals really sturdy . It's a great cheaper alternative to a expensive smart phone

Excellent rugged phone, perfect for the outdoors.
I have been very impressed by this phone. I am a keen walker and mountaineer, which is why I chose the phone. Unlike many other rugged phones it is not a brick; it is relatively light and fits in a normal sized pocket. The battery life is excellent and it has survived the odd drop and immersion. Blackview's customer service has also been first class. I did have an issue with the phone, but it was easy to contact customer service by email, and the problem was efficiently dealt with.

Different from other Android smartphones
Initially, I was impressed by the robust nature of this device. Once I added a protective cover it was almost indestructible. However, the features on the BV5300 were noticeably different from my earlier devices by Huawei, Oppo, Samsung, and Alcatel. There was no user manual for BV5300 but there is a supplier online who has it. It takes 2 sims and a memory card. The battery is slow to charge. It is taking time to navigate the new display that the device has but I will stick with it. However, I do recommend the BV5300 for a user who needs a tough outdoor device but it is not for a beginner to Androids - only for those who are Android savvy.

Full of promise but fails on its core function.
Being the happy owner of a Blackview tablet, when the time came for a new phone, I went for the BV5300 Pro, on the basis of its spec and the good price. On the face of it, it's not a bad phone, solidly built and a good size at 6.1", without being too unwieldy. I especially liked: a) the good-sized RAM (up to 7GB) and the larger in-built memory (64GB), allowing you to store plenty of apps on the phone. Another very appealing feature was the tray that allows you to have two SIM cards plus a micro SD card of up to 1TB, a feature which I have not yet come across on any other phone - all in all the omens looked good... Unfortunately, on opening the phone back up the morning after setting it all up (having been left on overnight), I found that the home page had reverted to one of the stock wallpapers, despite me setting it up the previous day with one of my own photos, which made me start to wonder about the stability of the operating system... In use, all seemed to work fine with good battery life, although, irritatingly, it was next to impossible to actually tell what the battery level was from the home screen, due to the TINY text size of the battery indicator - for a function that's going to be referred to quite regularly, that is quite a let-down. On the subject of the battery, when you do come to charge the phone, you'll need each time to remove a very tight plug at the bottom of the case to expose the socket, but this can't really be classed as a fault, it's just the price that you pay for owning a water resistant ruggedised smartphone that can't be charged by induction (and is, of course, preferable to it leaking, if immersed). The phone's worst failing though is the blank black screen you get when there's an incoming call, and no amount of swiping here, there or anywhere will allow you to pick up the call - very, very frustrating. I referred this to the seller's customer service department who, in fairness, responded quickly, but unfortunately their proposed solution (to restore the phone to its factory settings) did not work, and really, we're well into the 21st century now, and smartphones have been around for a while, so is it too much to ask that the basic functions of such a phone work straight out of the box? Anyway, long story short, the phone's going back and I'll probably end up spending a bit more on a phone that does what it should, without the need for 'user-tinkering'.

Money well spent
Arrived promptly, so easy to set up everything transferred from old Android phone within a few minutes. It's easy to use, it's fast, runs games and multiple apps with no problem. The quality of the camera and video is also really great. No problems hooking up to WiFi and the location stuff works great with Google maps. As fast as most other android phones, good signal strength. Money well spent I would recommend this phone to anyone amazing battery life

Perfect phone for a tradesman
Just upgraded to the pro. Best phone I have owned. It's tough and has all the features of other smart phones at a fraction of the price. Battery life lasts me 2/3 days depending on usage. dropped it a couple of times with no damage to the screen or case. And has all the same features as other smart phones.

Do not buy
Only 8 months old and no longer charging! Tried multiple different cables, not registering any! Complete waste of time and money, very dissapointing. Very glitchy, constantly shutting down app launcher and operating system. Slow to react and start up. Camera quality is only good up close. Avoid at all costs.
