A for awesome, T for terrifying.
All right so the keywords out of the way first, noise level is fine versatility is awesome It's a good value for the money there was no leakage the durability seems adequate and it's a great fit for the size. Now the important stuff, I love the fact the cord is removed so if the cable gets chewed on by a pet or something It can very easily be replaced I greatly enjoy the physical knob and the fact it clicks into place, I like how the light on the side actually is dimmer or brighter depending on if you have it on the first or second setting or warm. Now aside from that I have a story about this little doohickey. So I got this just recently, I was getting a bit hungry so I unboxed it and the first thing I decided to make with it was just basic tomato soup from a can, the thick kind you add water to in order to make it soup, I thought to myself hey it's just tomato soup and I kind of want it fast so I turned it to the two little flame setting because I thought it would heat up faster and, well... I was hungry, Well BOY HOWDY DOES IT! My tomato soup got hot in the I think 70 seconds I turned away to go to my mini fridge across the room suffice it to say I learned something new, theoretically I should have known this but it's never happened apparently you can burn tomato soup 😅. This thing gets hot enough to Burn tomato soup in genuinely just over a minute to the point where it boiled over a good chunk of it, I did have the lid on But I think even with the lid off it would have burnt, although probably wouldn't have boiled over like that. That's impressive as heck but I was fairly scared soup got into the electrical socket for a second which it almost could have DESPITE THE FACT the thing is on little stud stilts, there was just a little bit of soup right on the cable itself almost going in, but luckily I was alright, I put the whole thing under my sink very careful not to get any water in the socket or the dial, then, just to be sure, I carefully put a dry paper towel into the socket afterwards and really wiped it down as well as the sides. And now it's all cleaned up minus a little soup stuck in a very specific crevice on the top of the handle I can not seem to get out. So just for reference if you're going to cook meats or stews or something thick, that's DEFINITELY what the second setting is for, Do not however. AND I MEAN DON'T use the high mode for more viscous stuff like normal freaking soup. Because it WILL boil over and make a mess. TLDR: it's an awesome product so far although I just got it, 1. Massively versatile for cooking 2. love the version that came with the top cooker edition not that I've used it yet for anything but cauliflower well cooking soup on the bottom ( I did that the second time after the first soup incident, turn out really well actually) 3. it's definitely worth the cheap 30ish bucks I spent at the time of writing this. 4. it's actually pretty sleek and fashionable which is a nice bonus.

Great for liquid based meals and for intuitive chef
Great for fast cooking anything with boiling water. I’ve reheated mashed potatoes by adding water. Not so great for an egg directly on the pan or to reheat a muffin( sticks and is hard to clean and turns itself off. Great for soup reheating. Also simmers powdered spices and then add instant coffee at last minute and dollop of cream ( any form: milk, ice cream etc) Still learning… Try it!

Great value. Here's why ...
I've had this pot now for about 3 years. It's convenient, cute, heats quickly while the exterior stays cool to the touch, and still works as described. The 4 settings - off, low, high, and keep warm - work as indicated and respond quickly when changed. The clear lid means I don't have to open to see when to adjust the temperature. The generous size supports making a few cups of herbal infusions and decoctions. The cord length is typical for crockpots and hot pots. It's a perfect little pot.

Works Well and Very Handy, Though a Few Design Tweaks Would Help
I’ve been using this mini cooker frequently and overall I’m very satisfied — the stainless steel interior heats evenly, it’s easy to clean, and the size is perfect for quick meals. One small improvement I wish for is a spout or a slight pouring lip on one side of the pot. With a shaped edge, soup or broth would pour out more neatly without dripping. I also noticed that boiling water takes a bit longer than a regular electric kettle, which is understandable but worth mentioning. Another thing I’m curious about is the heating element — it seems to cover only half of the bottom instead of a full circle. I’m not sure if this is due to the design structure, but having a fully covered heating plate might improve even heating and efficiency. Other than these small points, the cooker works very well and I truly enjoy using it.

Perfect hot pot and steamer!
I’m so happy with this hot pot, I love the neutral color and the useful handle that makes it easy to pick up and hold onto while cleaning. Nothing sticks to the bottom either, which I wasn’t sure of when I was deciding which hot pot to buy, there are so many. I also like that the water boils super fast on the high setting, then I just turn it down to the regular setting after adding my ingredients like rice. The steamer made perfect hard boiled eggs and it was the first time all the shells came off without the eggs looking like they’d been in a fight lol. Also there is no leaking of liquids from the lid which is important. So far everything I’ve made in this has come out really good and clean ups a breeze! And if you’re like me and always had bad luck with pots boiling over on the stove than this little gems for you, no boil over! I really love this hot pot and it holds quite a bit and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It’s also pleasantly aesthetic looking to leave out on a counter.

I first bought a Salton hot pot and it was a total waste of money: the teflon started to peel off the heating surface after two uses and it was near impossible to clean due to being all plastic inside and having a lid that would not come off. I should have bought this one first. It's all steel inside and perfect for heating soups, water, and other liquidy foods. I have not tried it for actually cooking anything because I just need it for soups. The stainless steel interior is very easy to clean, especially since the lid comes off. It has simple temperature controls and you can turn it off without unplugging it (both features the Salton lacks). Also, it sticks less than the Salton even though it doesn't have a nonstick interior, I think because it heats more evenly. The Salton only heats in the middle so things burn on easily. The inner pot is NOT removable so you can't submerge the unit, but I haven't see any economical hot pots with a removable liner except Crockpots, which take about a half hour to heat soup. The only thing I would improve is that the cord is extremely thick and stiff and the pot is small and light, so sometimes the cord can make it hard to position the pot nice and flat exactly where you want. Minor issue. This is a really good little hotpot for heating soup or emergency cooking when you don't have a stove.

I will talk about my experience I bought the beige one, the pink one with the same features costs about double the price of the beige one. As far as wattage goes, perhaps the LO setting provides 200 watts if the local voltage is 110 volts. However, the local voltage where I live is 127 -128 volts, and the device provides over 350 watts, according to my power meter. I have found this hot pot to be good for quickly heating up ready-made soups, and for heating up a mixture of water and milk, or just water. I don't use it for preparing thick-flake oatmeal or multigrain cereal, because there is no temperature control, just the LO and HI settings, no provision for simmering. I prepare those things on a stove top, where I can simmer for fifteen minutes after bringing the water to a boil. As for cleaning, I have found it to be easy to clean after heating something with the LO setting: if there is a thin layer of food stuck to the bottom of the pot, the most I have had to do is to put a half cup of water into the pot to soften the layer, then to wipe it off after a minute or so, As for the HI setting, In one case, it took much longer to soften the food layer that had stuck to the bottom. As for the Keep Warm setting, it provided under 30 watts of power. That may be all right in some situations. All in all, this hot pot has simplified my life, and I think I will use it often.
