NPS not NPT
Straight threads on the inside. NPS not NPT per description so grab an o-ring. Still works with an NPT adapter. Appreciate the reverse threads on the outside collar, stays tight when connecting a pipe. Good wide flexible seal is forgiving of poorly drilled holes.

Easy peasy, good quality
This was easy. Good quality sturdy plastic parts, included washer, etc. The only thing I would have preferred is to know a recommended drill size but I drilled a couple of test holes in junk 2x4s and figured out the best fit was using a 1&1/2” bit. In my case I used a spade bit but a holesaw bit would have worked well too. Install was easy because I tied a nut to a string and dropped it down the bung hole of the barrel and then fished it out the drilled hole, then I let the inside part slide down the string and it was easy to attach. I did not need to hold the inside part as the outer nut went on really easy but I did use a smooth jaw adjustable wrench (the kind with the thumb screw not the pliars kind) to tighten it up. The white plastic piece in the pic went in smoothly with pipe tape and there are no leaks.

Well suited for what I needed...
Well made bulkhead fitting that I used, and will purchase and use again for making a clean exit through the floor of a van for a ventilation system... And I am sure it would work just as nicely as a barrel bulkhead fitting as well. Oh, and the price is definitely more than fair.

It's a good bulkhead.
I used these to install faucets to 55 gallon blue, water barrels. They fit in the top holes with no cutting. They seal completely. They take a garden hose with no modification or adaptors. So, perfect!

Leak free
Used a 1.5" hole saw to create a clean hole of the correct diameter in a 50 gallon plastic barrel and then installed this bulkhead fitting without issue. The 3/4 FPT worked fine for a standard 3/4 MPT to 1/2 barb adapter. It's only dealing with the water pressure from a full 50 gallon barrel, but no leaks.
