I got this shelf because I needed open shelving for plants and an air purifier. The shelf is a metal frame with wooden shelves and was easy to put together and looks good. It came with all the parts and the holes were properly aligned.My main complaint was that the metal frame had some pretty sharp areas, so be careful. While none of the screws are visible from the front, some white covers would have been nice for the ones on the side.This is a practical shelf for my purposes and is a good size. The shelf is lightweight, but is sturdy enough with items on it. I would recommend anchoring it if you need extra stability.

Really easy to assemble and looks great. The shelf is sturdy. Great value for money.

Perfect for small space!SUPER EASY to assemble!! Unlike so many other products that need assembling but are frustrating to put together. Anyone can do this. No help needed.

[ UPDATE: 05-July-2023 ] The seller contacted me offering a refund based on my review. I told them I could not return it and was using it but moreover, I recommended the product within some limitations. Since I could not return it I didn't feel a refund was justified and I actually wanted to keep it. Proactive customer service! In the reply back, they indicated they were learning what needs improvement so they offered me the refund for it. I will definitely consider options from this Amazon Seller for future just for that proactivity.3.5 starts to 4 stars just for this. Customer service is a lost art these days. I give it 3.5 stars if I could so I gave it 3-stars rather than 4-stars because of the fragility of the shelves and the expensive price (roughly $56+ Tax) for what it is. See details in Pros & Cons below.This is a solid flat pack option for a shelf that fits in a smaller footprint and wall space that makes use of height rather than width. It is light duty and should only be used by adults or mature teens (hear NOT children). I say this because though it comes with wall mount hardware to keep from tipping, shelf integrity will not likely hold up to kids putting things on and off with regularity.I could not find what I actually wanted in all wood (rather than wood sawdust mixed in glue sold as "wood product" with a plastic veneer) or framed in metal so I had to go with something that came flat packed and self assembled with an end product that looks it. However, QC on the fitted metal is pretty good and does not scream "I am flat packed" like many others I have seen. Buying a flat packed option is my choice and does NOT weigh into the star rating.This is being used in a guest room for guest use and provide some things for guests when they come. It is not used daily but roughly monthly.***** Pros *****+ ASTHETIC: Sleek and modern styling that can complement many décor options+ DESIGN: Taller and with 5 shelves (rather than 4) with a narrower footprint - excellent for smaller spaces. The open back and sides keep it from visually overwhelming a smaller space.+ DESIGN: A smaller foot print (width @ 16-18 inches) which is not easy to find. Most are 24 to 28 inches which is too wide for many applications in smaller spaces.+ DESIGN: Like the graduated depth of the shelves which makes the visual of the top shelves less bulky or over stylized than the competitors+ FUNCTION: The adjustable feet allowed me to put it semi-kiddy corner but adjust the back feet to keep the shelves level and the metal frame off the walls while standing on the wall to wall carpeting.+ DESIGN: The faux-wood marbled veneer on the shelves works really well in an eclectic wood furnished room. I was concerned that it would scream "cheap" next to real wood. I was wrong. It is subtle enough and complements a MCM Walnut dresser and the Arts & Crafts style Mahogany finished headboard withunder drawer storage bed.***** Cons *****- QUALITY: Shelves have a decent "wood like" veneer BUT are quite thin and brittle so they chip and nick easily- QUALITY: Shelves themselves are VERY thin and I do not believe they can support the weight advertised for each shelf in the longer term with repetitive use.- Though this is more economical at this snapshot in time to other options, it is overpriced for its quality and construction at $56+Tax. Prior to the post pandemic artificial inflation, this would have been $29.99 to $39.99.- Instructions need work as the "exploding diagram" can be confusing as it should have had more than one to demonstrate front to back since the angled side is not clear in an exploding diagram. I suspect the negative reviews are from assembling the angled side to the back straight side and or visa versa.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------* OPINION: The segmented shelf supports are visible and obvious which is no secret in their advertising. That look is not appealing to me but note that the end product is NOT screaming "I am cheap". It is a good compromise for what I needed and quality control on the fitted pieces is quite good. I suspect the shelves will need to be replaced with solid wood over time but maybe I will be wrong.* OBSERVATION: Keep a stain marker handy as the veneer finish is brittle and chips/ nicks easily.
