Super Fresh Product Keeping Me Awake
Having added this product to my skin care routine for the past few weeks, i've really managed to test it for its worth! Although the product can be used elsewhere on the face, I decided to target my eyes to see what difference it has made. I don't usually struggle awfully with under eye bags, but when jet lag hit me after I arrived back from America, this product was a god send. It made me look and feel so much more fresher, despite my lack of sleep. It meant I could carry about my normal day without looking like I'd not slept in 48 hours! Daily use of this product literally does what it says, it makes me feel so awake and make my eyes feel fresher than ever. I feel like this could be perfect for those who suffer with hayfever and swollen/puffy eyes. As for application of the product it feels so smooth and pure, doesn't feel like you're clogging your face with tonnes of toxicants. The best way I can describe it is as a watery-based gel, it's very much liquified but also does feel like you're applying some product, so it doesn't feel like a waste of money and the results will show that it's not a waste either! I'd honestly really recommend this product to people in the future.

Perfect for dark circles and dry eyes!
So, onto my first thoughts when I received the gel; well for a start, the packaging is so pretty, I love the it's minimalist design and even better than that is that it’s a glass bottle! Which means it’s a bit more eco-friendly and it feels a lot more expensive than the plastic tubes you normally get.Something I love about this gel is that it is all natural ingredients, and as someone who has very sensitive skin and psoriasis, this was great to hear. And my skin loved it. I personally suffer with dry eyes due to working at a computer 7-8 hours a day so this felt super hydrating and helped brighten my eyes up.Another thing that’s great about Wake is that they don’t test any of their products on animals! So no worrying about animals like your pets being harmed for our benefit! So… does it work??In my photos you can see the before and after from not using the gel and then after a week of using it in the morning and in the evenings. You be the judge, but I personally think it’s had a big impact on the bags under my eyes and how puffy they get. My eyes feel less dry, they're certainly less puffy and my dark circles have reduced dramatically. You only need a small amount on the gel, I’d say half the size of a pea? It depends on you and how much you want to use! But a little goes a long way. I then smoothed it under my eyes and over my eyelids and then used circular motions to rub it in. Then over the next 5-10 minutes my eye’s started feeling more awake, looked brighter and less puffy. Plus, over time the bags under my eyes seem to have faded a bit too!My take away?If you have never used an eye gel before, I recommend trying this out as you won’t be disappointed! And it’s great knowing that it’s made from natural ingredients, and lasts an entire year after opening. Trust me, with the bottle being pretty big and it going a long way, this will probably last you 6 months to that entire year.I honestly don’t think I’ve got anything bad to say about this gel or Wake, they’re a small British company, and not only are their products are aimed at everyone regardless of age, gender or race, they also make a donation to Women’s Aid from every purchase! If I had to say one thing that isn’t great about the Wake skincare products is that they sometimes run out of stock because it’s so good and people can’t get enough!I will certainly be keeping this in my skincare routine and I can’t wait to get my hands on their face cream next! What you should take away from this is that you really should believe the hype!

Cooling, soothing and refreshing.
With a busy lifestyle, and spending much of my day in front of a screen, I was intrigued by this product which claims to address specific issues related to that. With all the skincare brands out there, I liked that this seemed to have a unique solution to a modern day problem, and as it was competitively priced I decided to give it a try.It arrived the very next day, which was fantastic service. Packaged in a cardboard box, the glass bottle is pleasantly weighty in my hand and very tactile. The minimalist branding is contemporary and stylish, and I like that the box and bottle are easily recyclable. The Wake Eye Gel is produced in, and sources its contents from, the UK. A percentage of each sale is donated to Women's Aid, which also made the brand stand out from others. The clear gel is light but not watery, and feels so refreshing on my skin. It is easily absorbed and seems very gentle on my face. It cools and soothes and makes my skin look hydrated and fresh. I have noticed that under-eye puffiness has diminished and I look less tired. I haven't been using it long enough to say if it reduces fine lines and wrinkles but my complexion looks refreshed and revitalised.

Reduces puffiness, but way too watery!! Wary about the reviews....
(UPDATE) Honestly, I'm wary whether some "amazing" reviews here are Fake (ahem, "PAID" reviewers)? Many reviewer photos look like models (a great marketing tactic, to use attractive model endorsements). And notice how the "AFTER" shots, often the person is wearing makeup AND probably concealer (obviously, skin will look nicer!!)I've been using now for over a week. Not a "miracle" product by any means. It's extremely drippy & watery, too runny for me. :-( Honestly, it seems like it's just a bit of Aloe mixed with a lot of water, drips all down my face....I doubt it has any potent anti-wrinkle aging properties! It IS soothing, and has reduced some under-eye puffiness, seems good for summer. I will use for long flights to refresh under eyes (for very sensitive eye area). I love the hip minimal packaging, nice pump, natural. Will continue to use and assess after bottle is finished. A bit expensive in my opinion, but hopefully, I can re-use this attractive bottle again!
