Bakugan Training Playset (Dragon Clan)

Spin Master "Bakugan: Training Set with Titanium Dragonoid", Ages 6+. You get a rock & lava base structure, a curved wall (this set is meant to be joined with others to form a circular battle arena), a magnetic Gate Card, the Titanium Dragonoid transforming figurine, a multilingual gameplay rules booklet, mini poster, 1/2 a Dragonoid Brawler Card, and a Roblox Bakugan Battle League code. The Bakugan figures are spring loaded and instantly transform from sphere to creature when they touch a magnetic surface. For gameplay purposes, that is achieved by rolling them onto and stopping on a magnetic Gate Card. With this diorama, you can roll your Bakugan into action down one of the 2 slopes or launch them into battle with the spring lever at the base. The curved wall can be attached to either side of the structure. Note that this set isn't enough to play a full game by itself, you need at least 2 players and 6+ Bakugan characters. Both players simultaneously roll their chosen Bakugan towards a Gate card, if both transform, you compare their scores, depending on what symbol they opened up on, and the higher number wins. If one opens and the other doesn't, the transformed one automatically triumphs. The first player with 3 different opened Bakugan wins the game. That's the basic version, using the Brawler Cards opens up more advanced strategies. You only really need several Bakugan and a Gate Card to play, arena playsets like this just add to the fun and atmosphere. That being the case, I feel that this kit should have included 3 Bakugan instead of 1, as that's not enough as-is and you'll have to buy at least 2 more to battle someone else!

I needed a little something to add to a gift bag and the price was right so I added it to my cart. To be honest, I really have no clue what you do with this but my grandchildren thought it was great so I’m happy. Happy grandchildren…Happy Grandmother!!!

My nephew loved the Bakugan Training Set with Titanium Dragonoid, and it's been a great way to encourage his creativity and imagination. The Dragon Clan theme is really cool, and the customizable action figure is a fantastic feature. The trading cards are also a big hit, and my nephew enjoys collecting and trading them with his friends. The playset is a lot of fun, and it's helped to develop my nephew's problem-solving skills and strategic thinking. However, I've noticed that some of the pieces can be a bit flimsy, and the instructions for assembly can be confusing at times. Despite these issues, the Bakugan set has provided hours of entertainment for my nephew, and it's been great to see him engage in imaginative play. If you're looking for a fun and interactive toy for kids, this might be a good option. Just be aware that it may require some patience and adult supervision to assemble and maintain. Overall, it's a decent gift, but not perfect. Three stars is a fair rating, given its entertainment value and some minor drawbacks. I'm glad I bought it for my nephew, and I think he'll continue to enjoy it for a while.
