Let your cats safely enjoy the outdoors!!
This catio is AMAZING!! Easy to put together! Cats love it! I have one large cat and one small! The shelves large and sturdy! My catio is attached to the house at the front window. Segments are numbered and easy to connect per the instructions. This came in 2 large boxes with instructions and extra parts! No smell! Only one complaint... It would be very helpful if each segment would say "inside" and "outside". I would highly recommend this catio!

Easily assembled and sturdy once its completed.
As I was putting this together I thought it might be too light duty to last all summer, but it not only lasted all summer, it has held up to the nasty Wyoming wind. Great quality and easy to put together!

ONE YEAR LATER
My husband and I stained this (to match our trim) and assembled it in April, 2020, and we live in the northeast a couple blocks from the ocean. Our “catio” has held up (with a couple modifications) through some pretty vicious storm systems, and our two cats use it daily—many times daily, so I have to recommend this product.ASSEMBLY We (I) made a mistake when staining and covered over a few of the labels printed on the pieces—of which there are many—and that made the assembly a little more difficult. DO NOT DO THIS. I created a bit of a jigsaw puzzle, but we figured it out. When we were moving it (fully assembled) onto the base, it felt like it wanted to warp, so we added some strapping pieces to secure it at the bottom. Our modifications:ROOF The one that comes with this is 3 pieces, and started to pool water in the late spring. We swapped it out, as we can get some heavy snows and rains, with a painted solid plywood sheet, and added strapping underneath to give it a slight slant away from the house.BASE We added a 4x4 wood base to lift it to fit our first floor window, and secured the catio to the heavy wooden base. Didn’t want to see it flying in a storm (had vision of the opening scene from Wizard Of Oz with our cats and the catio swirling around our house).ENTRANCE We made a ‘tunnel’ on the back side for the cats to come and go through a cat door in our window using strapping and wire mesh from hardware store, and made a ‘landing’ (additional perch on the rear of catio) with a spare shelf and brackets we had on hand. We aren’t carpenters, and it shows a little, but the cats don’t complain.DO THE CATS LIKE IT?OMG YES!!!! We installed a Petcube by the cat door leading to the catio to record them going in and out, and they use it ALL THE TIME. Day and night. Since we gave the base some lift, I put pea gravel and pavers in the bottom (because, ya know... it’s a CATio),and a planter with some cat grass and catnip. They will both go out and find their own perch to watch the world go by (also a bird feeder a couple feet away), and they frequently munch on their fresh greens in the base.Again, this has withstood some pretty bad nor’easters, during which we lost umbrellas and some patio furniture, but the catio didn’t budge. I have shoveled snow out of it in the winter (it’s tall enough for me to stand in), and we are honestly surprised at how well it has held up with everything that’s been thrown at it. Everyone who has come to our house (the few who have been over during Covid) and seen it thinks it’s brilliant. WOULD BUY AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT.

Nice enough, needs extra steps
Looks nice and all for $230, supposedly easy to build with an allen wrench etc, but in truth, it’s not a simple project. Be prepared to reenforce it with lumber… unless you’re only keeping it temporarily. This flimsy wood frame wont survive long if you plan on moving it anround after building, or have extreme weather (sun, rain, high winds?), and the little shelves wont hold a large—or very active— cat’s weight. Or three, in my case. I had to build bigger shelves so my maine coon especially didnt feel like Alice in Wonderland in there.

Worth it
Not super expensive for what feels like a quality build catio. Didn't take too much time to build and instructions were clear. Had it about a year or so and it hasn't degraded in any way that would lead me to think it's cheap construction. Also my cat loves it uses it all the time

large enough for multiple cats but some patience is required to assemble
As with any of these "DIY" construction projects, patience is required. You will not build this item in 30 minutes! But if you take your time, you will have one of the best cages you can buy. The door is wide enough to easily walk into the cage and it's tall enough to easily move around. Since this item is screwed together, it won't fall apart like the other "plug stick A into knuckle B" items you can see elsewhere. My package had a small missing item (small board to cover one of the roof panels). I emailed their customer service and received a reply the next day, offering to exchange, refund, assist in any way. That was quite impressive.

Easy To Assemble
Believe it or not I constructed this inside my family room! I took one of my feral cats to my vet to be neutered and he tested positive for FIV. Not willing to have him euthanized I looked for a way to bring him inside on a permanent basis without exposing my other kitties to the virus. This fit the bill perfectly. He has lots of room to move around and I made some adjustments so that I could attach an extra cage for his litter box so it would not take up any space in the actual cathouse. It was easy to assemble and all the pieces were well marked with numbers and letters and the instructions were clear. I am a 69 year old woman and I had no problems putting it together. This kit does come in two shipments and I didn't get the second box for a couple of days so I did contact customer service and they were quick to respond and very helpful. The second box showed up later that same day. It doesn't have a floor so I did set it on top of a piece of linoleum to make clean up easier. I am very happy with this purchase and it looks nice. Best of all it is helping to save a life.

Our cats love it, wild animals love it too 😅😬
The media could not be loaded. I bought this catio 8 months ago. It was used as a temporary cat patio while I was building a more permanent structure & placed it on my covered front porch. Wouldn’t recommend this be uncovered as it isn’t durable enough to be kept in the elements. They shipped us an extra box of stuff on accident which was odd.Be aware that since this wasn’t built for your homes dimensions that animals can and likely will get in there, so we started shutting it at night as we had quite a few possums come to hang out in it with the cats 😂we just tore the catio down since we finished building a permanent one in our backyard & are going to convert it to an indoor iguana cage in the coming months
