Well made & priced fairly.

What's to say? It works great. I like to put my own backing onto my fly reels because the flyshops universally put on too much backing and then the fly line gets stuck on the arbor. This product is a very simple and and useful way for me to install my own backing. Of course, I have a spooler that I use, so if you don't have a spooler, then you ought to get the fly shop to do it.

I like these. They are of good quality and relatively easy to apply. I especially like the flourescent color, which allows me to see it through the water and see how close I am to a full retrieval of my line for recasting.

I liked the orange color so it will be very easy to distinguish the end of the fly line and beginning of the leader. I found near impossible to work even a small 3wt fly line into the braiding, not a huge problem I just secured it with a nail knot and it is very strong and streamlined going through rod without the mess of dealing with super glue and the slip over sleeve.

Good fit

I work in the industry and have used Rio fly lines exclusively for the last 10 years. I have to say this line is absolutely garbage. I realize you get what you pay for but for Rio to even put its name on this is ridiculous. The cover separates from the mono core if you look at it sideways. You can not nail knot it and I definitely wouldn’t trust the slide on loop method. Rio, you need to pull this line and make it right with customers who bought it.
