Awesome machine
This works great and its pretty! Love the lavender color. Each compartment works great and holds alot at one time. It comes with small samples of wax, it was pretty decent.

It’s what it says
Buy soft wax. It gives you two different colors if hard wax not hard wax and soft wax. Even though they give you supplies for soft wax. It’s a little misleading. However I really like the hard wax. It’s super gentle on my husbands skin and he usually gets super irritated and reactive. It would be five stars if it wasn’t for the misleading product.

Works Well
The media could not be loaded. I think that this little wax melter is going to come in very handy! Right up front, I have never used one of these before, I usually have waxing done at a salon, so I have nothing to compare the workings of this one too as far as time it should take to melt wax etc. I think its great that it comes with everything you need to get to waxing. It comes with plenty of papers, sticks and even pot collars! The instructions are an interesting read and could definitely be clearer. In the instructions it talks about dipping your hand in, as you can see from my pic, it is much to small to dip a hand in, and I do not have big hands by any means. I wish it had clearer markings on the heat settings, I cannot read the markings unless I am very close to it, but basically turning it clockwise makes it go higher and I'm not sure if knowing exactly what temperature it should be would make any difference in the general use of it. At first I had it on a lower setting to melt the wax and it took quite awhile and the wax never quite melted all the way so I turned it all the way up. I was still surprised at how long it took to melt and the wax was quite thick. I'm sure there are different types of wax, and I will have to try different types and brands to find what I like best. The important thing is that even at maximum temperature it was not too hot to put on my skin. My big fear at salons is having wax that is too hot put on my face, hands or feet, so I am thrilled that even at max, this has a comfortable temperature! It did a good job of taking the hair off my face and I'm sure that I will get better at it with more practice. All in all I think this is going to be really nice to have and will probably save me some money.

Wonderful for hard wax beans!
Got this because I’m moving to a warmer climate and wanted to start waxing since I’m quite hirsute and I’m about sick of dealing with razors. I didn’t realize this would come with enough wax beans to equal what I believe would be roughly half a pot of wax, so I had ordered my own that didn’t require strips (the included wax beans require strips, but they provide a hefty amount of the strips as well). It took about 2 hours on max temp to fully melt the full 1.2 pounds of the wax beans I bought, which gave me a full pot of wax. I had to turn the heat down after reaching full melting point because it was a wee bit too hot for my bikini line and arm pits, so the adjustable temperature turned out to be very helpful. I got the majority of my lower legs (not quite enough growth so the short hair was difficult to really get), bikini line, and arm pits with roughly 2/3 of the wax, so the pot holds about the right amount of wax for a full waxing for one person. The cord is nice and heavy, round, similar to heavy duty extension cords, plus with a ground plug, unlike a LOT of small household appliances which is quite nice, certainly improves on safety, and surprised me given the affordable price compared to other options. The body of the warmer is steel rather than plastic like some other options I saw when looking for a wax warmer. The pot is removable from the warmer to ease cleaning and even has a little bucket style handle so you can remove it without burning yourself if it’s hot. The lid gets hot since it’s also aluminum like the pot, but the little handle on the lid stays cool. Overall, for being such an affordable option, I’m really impressed with the high quality of this simple, relatively cheap, cute little wax warmer. The only possible downside to this that I can foresee, is that the pot is aluminum, so the wax is NOT going to be easy to clean out if I were to switch what type of wax I want to use.

Nice Warmer. Comes With A Few Extras To get Started, But Instructions Are Lacking
This warmer is a nice large size, and is well designed. I do like the handles, makes it easy to move around and place into position. It heats up quickly, even on a low setting. The instructions are iffy--this is supposed to be for beginners, but I had to do research elsewhere to find out exactly how hot the wax should be, for example. It comes with some wax and sticks to apply the melted wax, plus strips to remove it from the skin. I prefer the paperless hard wax, and this pot works just fine for that type of wax as well. Overall a great addition to home self care. It looks professional--better than the one my salon uses!

Learning curve, but nice!
This is overall nice and easy to use, but there's definitely a learning curve that I'm definitely still in.As just the wax warmer, this does a good job and the heat options work well. It definitely takes time to do anything beyond that, but thankfully this is big enough to hold a bunch so there's the option to practice. If you know what you're doing already this would be great, as a newbie this may have been too ambitious.
