It does make the job in changing the tires easily and I also like the build quality. Works as advertised.

It worked incredibly well and saved me a lot of money in tire repairs. Problem is people want to borrow it and not return it.

Upon inspection I'm not a fan of the anchor leg. The body is 46mm diameter. I purchased a 46mm combination wrench to use as an anchor leg. I want to disassemble and make sure the planetary gears are lubricated before I use it under stress. I like how the e-clips are used in the assembly. This will be easy to maintain. I removed on star because I haven't used it yet. This tool is much smaller in size compared to one I use on my tractor equipment. The internal gears are well made and the factory grease was every where. This tool is a must for persons that have mechanical skill but not a lot of strength. In my opinion if you drive a car you should know how and be able to change a tire. I have some disabilities. The weight of the tire for a truck is pretty heavy and difficult to maneuver, that's the hard part. This tool makes it easy to remove lug nuts. If you share my opinion this is a good tool to keep in the emergency travel kit. I highly recommend but the 4 stars evaluation stands because I don't know how long the durability will last but seems to be well made.

Really this is a budget solution to break lug nuts that were tightened by a stronger person than the person removing them. 16:1 gear reduction is accurate. The maximum rated capacity of 680 Nm is ~ 500 foot-pounds and is easily exceeded with less than 31.25 foot-pounds torque or 60 pounds pressure on the 6.25" crank handle. If you break it by pulling the crank harder than 60# or by using a breaker bar or cheater bar or smacking the input with a hammer it is your fault. If you must use a cheater bar or hammer the wrench do it without this tool in the game. If you require more than 500 foot-pounds torque output spend more for a heavier duty tool. This will remove standard passenger vehicle lug nuts that are more than twice as tight as they should be unless they are corroded to the bolt. Torque multipliers are NOT to be used with an impact wrench because they don't work well with impulse energy and the impact wrench beats them to failure. Use the included crank handle to loosen nuts. Using a torque wrench to tighten the nuts to proper values without the torque multiplier is preferable to using the multiplier to install the nuts. Torque values are not directly 16:1 compared to input torque, but they are reasonably close, e.g. 10~20% usually. Use this tool to loosen over-tight nuts and use other means to tighten replacement nuts to spec.

I wish I had this thing years ago. This helps get lug nuts (or lug bolts) off, which have been over-torqued, or are just torqued to a level that is beyond your strength. Very simply, it works. It does what its advertised to do. This is one of those rare gems that you stumble upon periodically. I'm going to order another couple of these units for my other cars, and I'm going to buy them for friends and relatives. Its that good. I highly recommend that everyone have one of these in their vehicle, because its usually when you have a flat tire that you discover that the last shop that put tires on your vehicle over-tightened the lug nuts (or lug bolts). This device will make the process of removal so much easier.

This thing did NOTHING to remove the lug nuts on my tires. The thing just slips off the lug nut when I crank it a few times. It won’t stay on to have leverage to loosen the nuts

This thing is amazing. I wanted to change the rusty lug nuts on my 2013 F150 for a long time but didn't want to take the truck to the shop and pay them, or even break out my air compressor, pneumatic impact driver, air hose, and electrical cord. I saw this and, for $45, thought I would give it a shot. I replaced all 24 of my truck's lug nuts in less than 45 minutes, even taking time to clean the lug nut's recess before putting the new ones on. It only took me a little over 8 minutes per wheel. I sat on the ground, in front of each wheel, connected the socket and pivot adapter, gave the handle a spin and the lug nuts came off with ease and went on with ease. No jumping on a breaker bar, no pulling a back muscle trying to break the lug nuts free and very little expense to change out 24 lug nuts. Outstanding product - in today's world it is rare to find a product that does what it says it is going to do, but this one WORKS!!!

Bought a year and a half ago, just in case. Worked perfectly. Helped me change a shredded tire, fast enough to make an important appointment on time. Due to health issues, couldn’t have gotten it done without it.
