When did ironing boards get to be so expensive?
It took me days of hunting, sorting through so many items, to find an ironing board that I thought might be sturdy enough to be worth these kinds of prices. I’m not saying that this one in particular is overpriced, I’m just saying that in general, the prices for ironing boards is, a shock to me, lol. The last ironing board I bought was four years ago at a family dollar, so that was what I was comparing it to. The one I used before that was one a friend had found at a thrift shop/consignment store, that was clearly a much older Version, with extremely sturdy legs. It was probably a good 20 years old, lol. I’m very glad that this is the one that ended up choosing! It has been very sturdy, not a budge when I try to move it. This was my number one concern! Also, the pad is nice and thick, and perfect for ironing, clothes, or sewing projects.(the last one had no padding and I could feel the metal mesh underneath, lol). I have a small-ish space to put the ironing board and iron in, when I set it up. I have to use a cordless iron, because with my disability issues I iron over a cord all the time, and having one in the way is not acceptable. I was worried that the little side tray for the iron would be taking up too much space, but it was not an issue. It doesn’t make the iron too long for my space, although it really is of no value to me, because it’s not a flat surface. I can’t place my existing iron on it on its charging pad. I like that there is a portion of the pad for placing a warm iron on, even though I don’t need that as much as someone who has a more standard iron. I also have a new iron so the portion of the pad to clean the iron hasn’t really been a necessity at this point. I’ve used it to iron, some very heavy curtains, and the pad made it a little difficult for me to move the curtain around, but that’s my own issues with trying to adjust the fabrics, because when it holds onto the fabric, it keeps it from sliding off the board. That would probably be much worse, lol. If I had to spend this kind of money on an ironing board, and this one happens to have been in the lower range of all of the ones I looked at, I’m very happy to purchase this particular one. Very pleased with this purchase!

Great for ironing.
Solid construction and smooth ironing surface. Folds easily for storage although we leave it up all the time. It’s a great board and would strongly recommend it. We are very happy with it.

Good quality - doesn't seem as "heavy duty" as previous model
I had a previous "Heavy Duty" ironing board from this company (different model), that I liked a lot. Sadly, a piece keeping the legs extended broke as well as the end caps on the feet. This was after about 5 years of moderate use, but with roommates who didn't take care of it well. I decided on this model as a replacement, since my past model isn't available. This one seems to be well built, though it doesn't seem as "heavy duty" as the previous one. Time will tell on this. The legs don't feel as sturdy, and with the price tag, I would expect them to be a bit more solid. The pad seems pretty nice. Overall, the board looks nice and is nicer than the cheaper boards, though wish it was a bit more solid for the price.

Everything you wanted and many things you didn’t know you needed
I never thought I would describe an ironing board as luxurious, but this one is just that. The pad is fantastic. While remaining perfectly in place, it retains heat to keep more heat on the rear side of your target. The metal plate at the back can hold a drink, my iPhone, and still take the iron when switching things up in the board. The total area for ironing is fantastic though you might find a need to iron in a new spot it your space was just right before this one arrives. It’s also built like a rock and made with safety in mind for the release and storage of legs. Brilliantly designed.

Light but gets the job done
The 4-layer cover and pad are a game-changer. They provide a smooth and sturdy surface that allows the iron to glide effortlessly, eliminating wrinkles in no time. The cover is thick enough to cushion the clothes but still allows heat and steam to pass through effectively. Height adjustability is another fantastic feature of this ironing board. It's easy to adjust to multiple height settings, ensuring ergonomic ironing whether you're tall or short. This feature reduces strain on the back and shoulders, making ironing sessions much more comfortable. The build quality is exceptional. The ironing board feels sturdy and stable, even when ironing heavier items. The frame is durable and doesn't wobble or shake during use, providing a reliable platform for precise ironing.

Nice to work with
Great item! Beautiful heat-resistant cover. Love the holder for the iron and starch. Only wish it had an extension attachment for ironing sleeves. A bit pricey for an ironing board but so far holding up well. Would recommend this product.

Save your money
This product is not worth the money at all. I was super disappointed that my old warped ironing board that I am trying to replace was MORE stable than this one. The legs on this ironing board from Amazon flex back and forth and are unsafe. It isn't just the pivot point either, the legs themselves are not good metal and are very flexible. I would be constantly worried about my iron ending up on the floor because of the wobbliness!! The pad isn't very thick either and the 'cord holder' is a piece of cheap flexible plastic with not way to lock it in place. Consequently the cord holder flops open and closed when you don't want it to. I didn't even use the ironing board. I popped it back into it's box and am returning it tomorrow. I felt that for $128 that I should be getting a product that was at least as advertised. This item should be priced way less, maybe $30. I think that my old board might serve me a little longer until I can find something else that's actually worth replacing it with. Very very disappointed. Especially since the reviews were so high. Meh.
