Rubie's Costume Men's Shrek Gingerbread Warrior Costume

This costume is insanely hilarious. After I had it shipped to my office, I immediately put it on with the help of my colleagues--tucking in the neck flaps into the body suit was tough for me alone. Everyone was stunned and shocked with laughter when they saw me. I can't wait to wear it on the street. :DAs far as the other review with the head, I had the same problem with the head having creases and wrinkles in it. Since the skirt flaps were also folded very tight into the packaging, I'll probably have to iron them out as well. In regards to the upright position of the head...well, it won't stay up by itself. According to other reviews on the original gingerbread man, some stuffing and/or additional wiring will be required. The backing of this suit is secured by a small square piece of velcro that will probably come loose if you move too much or lean forward. Adding a long strip of velcro or zipper will help keep the breeze off your back if you plan on trick or treating in the evening. If you don't want people to see your face from the mouth portion of the mask, you may want to add some sort of screen or mesh to cover it. In terms of the standard size, the legs came up short on my 5'10" height The arms sleeves were long enough for my 34/35" lengths. Considering my 180lb average frame, the suit fit very loose.In regards to the missing scimitar/inflatable lollipop...well, the product description said nothing about it so I assumed it did not come with the suit. Although, I'll have to admit that lollipop was very difficult to find, but eventually I got lucky with Costume Kingdom. Be warned though, it does not resemble anything close to the picture. The scimitar portion is made of vinyl and the colors are actually really soft compared to the darker rich colors you see on the pictures. The shaft itself is a gray plastic [not white!] that comes in 3 pieces.

OMG this costume rocks!! You would not believe how many compliments and pictures were taken of me while I wore this taking my kids trick or treating. The material is way better than anything I have ever worn. The only drawback is you need to stuff the head with some bubble wrap or something light weight. It's flimsy. I would definitely recommend this and even wear it every other Halloween.

It isn't the quality like it's pictured. Much thinner in person and the head is flimsy. It is very disappointing that I have to reinforce it before I can wear the costume. Also the legs run a bit short and I am only 5'11. I ordered the standard size.

I love the Costume but there are some small things that bother me about it. Many have noted that it does not come with the Septre included which was also the same for my package. But Rubies has the Septre for sale which I ordered at the same time so no big deal. The Costume itself is great and I won 2 best costume party awards just this year and its not even Halloween yet. I needed to add a wire to the face to keep it from falling around as it has to internal support. . and the back Velco keeps coming apart so I added a button up top and velcro down the whole back not just the top square. i also cut out the mouth so I could fit my head though it and fold the head back since its cumbersome to drink through the mask without taking it off.Pro: its funny, fits well and it a party hit. It's very warm (could be a pro or con dress lightly)Cons: does not actually come with Septre, I had to add a wire to the inside of the face to keep it from falling down outside or while moving around. You cant see anything with the mask on or very little with out constantly moving the face around. I had to add velcro and buttons to the back for the costume to not fall off every time I sat down.All in all its a great costume and is always good for a laugh. It great for someone with just a little bit of sowing skills and a needle, thread and wire at home.

Having seen some mixed reviews I figured I would take the chance and order this costume. Well, I took a chance and learned the hard way. Visually, the costume looks some 50% less in quality than in the photo. The vibrant colors that pop out do not do so on the actual print. The headpiece is very poorly made and does not sit atop the costume as displayed, instead, once you tuck in the neck cowl it appears that you have a lumpy and misshapen neck and a giant fish bowel for a head. Finally, it's huge. I ordered the "standard" size which says it fits up to a 44 Jacket. I'm 5'10" and 175lbs, with an athletic build. This costume can almost wrap around me twice when I'm wearing it and has no way to secure in the back except for a half of an inch piece of Velcro at the top.

Real big... Everywhere. I think you would need to be built like a hefty wrestler to fit this nicely. Also the colors are faded. Needs some work but is an ok base and an excellent idea for a costume. It will need some sizing and coloring help to look good

It is true to size, I am a plus size so, I wished they could of had 2x or 3x.I love the costume I am so excitied to wear it this halloween.

I was a little disappointment when the suit arrived today I was under the impression that It would have came with the lollipop staff for 169.60$ if I knew that I would have ordered a differen costume for Halloween and I had to use a pool noodle to keep the head from flopping over on top of itself

Costume is pretty cool. Generally has worked great,j just the velcro is not sticking as expected and the head is a little hard to maneuver in but overall pretty awesome costume! All of smiles!
