This tablet holder is solid! It has a strong grip, and the arm is made of metal. It feels quite durable. My only complaint is that the head is made of plastic and it is attached to the arm by four plastic tabs. It do worry it might get broken someday, but they do seem strong so I'm not that worried.

As a performing musician the side mounting works best by far. It holds my 13" Galaxy tablet and reading chords and lyrics live is a breeze now. Best in class and well worth the extra cash. Don't scrimp on your own talent and passion.

This holder is top-notch, and holds both my iPad and my Galaxy tablet, and my phone. I use it on my mic stand for practice and live gigs to run in ear monitoring software.

This holds an iPad securely, but the removable back plate is too loose and would fall off when trying to get an iPad on and off. It was more a bug than a feature so I super glued mine so the iPad holder is permanently attached to the clip and now it’s sturdy. Minor inconvenience, but now it’s a great product. The arm holds the iPad well in any position without sagging. The only weak point is the gripping clap. The rubber bands that come with it don’t last long before tearing and they won’t hold a position that is against gravity, but it’s very workable.

I searched for hours for something like this. It ticks all the boxes for use with my 11"iPad Pro. I use for synth access to my guitar and call up soft synths. hit attaches perfectly, and discreetly beneath the tray of my music stand, so I have really easy access to all apps, presets and parameters. Love it!

clamp on mic stand is perfect, entire device is very sturdy. Holds ipad even with a very thick case on it. Adjusts to any size no problem. Nice

At first I really liked this for my iPad 12 Pro. After 2.5 months I noticed the clamp slipping on my mic stand. One of two rubber claw grippers shredded and the other is about to fall off. You also can’t use this with an Apple Pen as the side holders are in the way. Still searching for the ideal iPad holder. This is NOT it. Update: Now the 2 clamps’ spring tension has weakened and will not hold my iPad vertically without slipping down. Update 2: Feb 2025. The ball swivel socket is held on to the expando holder part with 4 tiny L-shaped protrusions that snap into the plastic back...which all just broke in moving the holder on a stand. This is NOT a gig worthy, nor strong device. I fixed it with 2 screws, CA glue, cotton and baking soda. The most important piece, incredibly under-engineered.
