Unicorn Magic The Royal Collection Books 1-4 (Boxed Set): Bella's Birthday Unicorn; Where's Glimmer?; Green with Envy; The Hidden Treasure

I was searching for unicorn-related stories for a unicorn-obsessed granddaughter, but aside from a little glitter on the first book in this series, there is absolutely nothing going on. Really! Nothing happens in these stories! Bella has a wonderful breakfast, several times, has cute clothes, cute hair ornaments, and lots of ballet flats, and some spats with her best friends, who also have cute clothes and ballet flats and cute hair ornaments, and a visiting cousin. Yes, you guessed it: she has cute clothes, too. Oh, and there's an evil witch, Bella's aunt who is out of favor with Bella's Mom, but we won't know why until book 5, 6 or possibly 10, because that's how long it will take for anything resembling a plot to develop. There are also some helpful palace servants, though a kingdom with a 4th grade boy working in the stables clearly needs an update in its child labor laws. Glimmer, her unicorn, had the right idea when he made a break for it into the Dark Forest. I would have, too.

Nice book collection. It’s a bit lore reading than I thought it was going to be. Bought it for my 5 year old. Nice stories, just a bit too much for her age. Will be good as she gets a bit older.

Perfect set for girls ranging from 7-10. Made a great gift for a little girl who loves unicorns.

Christmas gift for my daughter who loves to read especially anything with unicorns.

Love the story. My daughter loves unicorns and princesses and having her name in the story was extra.

Good story line, had a few spelling errors in the book and in one chapter it gives the wrong characters name. Overall, good morals and keep the kids interest.
