This upgraded version is fast on vinyl floors but gets hung up on all objects it comes in contact with. I had purchased a prior version that fell apart (wheels) within 2 months (received refund) & was hoping this would operate better.

Every so often I give in and try a different manufacturer of these kinds of toys. I've had dozens of similar toys none of them had been any good, and this one is no exception. I honestly don't know how this company does anything. It's a shame because I would really like to have some workable toys for my wonderful cats. Sorry to leave such a negative review but it's quite fitting. Buyer Beware!

We charged it up before first use. It doesn't roll very much, just a few inches. Cats were curious at first but got bored because it wouldn't move. THe green light flashes constantly - it never stops - even after sitting still for 5 minutes.

Product is very small, maybe 2.5 inches long. Gets stuck under tv stand, couch etc. I was expecting something more substantial.

We have a young female cat that is an only cat.  She loves playing and it is adorable watching her play.  My husband has a couple of toys that he uses to keep her entertained.  We got this toy to see if she would like it and give my husband a break.  The first thing she noticed were the lights which got her attention immediately.  The next thing that engaged her was watching it move.  It was cute watching her head turn to follow the mouses movement.  Finally, she would get down and stalking the toy as it moved about the house.

We have a couple of younger cats that like to play.  We got this toy to see if they would like it and hopefully play with it.  So far, we have had mixed results.  Our youngest kitty loves it and chases it around.  Her sister, which is a little bit older, isn't as impressed.  She will chase it around a little bit but gives up soon after.  The toy charges pretty quick and has a decent run time on a full charge.  The toy is pretty mobile and it is fun watching the younger kitty stalk and pounce on it.
