Really fun concept and toy. Our kid has loved this for a while; she got her first as a gift and we just recently replaced it with our recent purchase.The reason we replaced it: mold growth inside the toy. We make an effort to fully empty the toy after baths, but it's pretty hard to fully dry it out, so the design does promote mold. (I would love to know tips for preventing this, if anyone has them. Is it really necessary to run bleach through the thing (seems a bit harsh)?) I took off one star for this problem; for health reasons, it is definitely necessary to be vigilant about checking for mold, as with any closed-form bath toy.That aside, it's a really fun toy.

RE-REVIEWED 9/15/15:SUMMARY: ***DO NOT BUY THIS MOLD TRAP!***I felt a serious re-write of my original review was needed - this thing is a MOLD TRAP! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Once you use it in the tub or around any water really, it forms MOLD on the inside of it which is nearly impossible to clean well. You can literally see the BLACK MOLD through the sides of the ball!!Upon realizing I the issue I reached out the company to see what they might suggest and they basically said 'dry the inside of it real well (yeah right!) and here's a link to google for mold remedies. THANKS FOR NOTHING. Then they suggest I spend my hard-earned money on another one of their products that actually opens so you can clean it. BOO Moluk! Take care of your customers better and we'll take care of you. Unacceptable to A) market this MOLD TRAP to children, and B) to fail miserably to back it up once you realized the problem, and C) for suggesting I instead buy more of your products when I am already unhappy with you!***DO NOT BUY THIS MOLD TRAP!***ORIGINAL REVIEW:-VERY entertaining!-Bright and attractive to kids!-Fun to fill (bubbles from the holes when empty and placed underwater)-Fun to drain! slowly let it 'rain' or place your finger on the one hole and squeeze hard to get more of a sprayer!

We purchased 3 of these for our triplets. The yellow and green came as a single piece and the blue one comes apart for easy cleaning. My kids enjoy playing with them and are fascinated with the stop/go hole. That being said, we've had them for 6 months, I've cleaned them out every way I possibly can and they continue to grow black mold inside. We always drain them and store them upside down so the water doesn't sit in the little holes. I have bleached them, gotten a teeny, tiny bottle brush to get all the slime out of all the holes, and it still comes back. At least an hour spent cleaning these every few weeks. I really believe that the single piece ones should be pulled off the market and that those who bought them should be offered replacement two-piece items for reduced or no cost. As it stands now, this is an excellent concept with poor excecution.

I bought this toy for my 6-year-old son. He might be considered too old for the toy, but it turns out he loves to play with it in the bathtub. He makes "rain" with it and likes me to pour the rain over his head. He makes bubbles with it too by pushing it to the bottom of the tub. It was smaller than I expected, but it's a durable and fun toy. I wish I had bought it years ago.

I just don't get the hype on these. My baby and preschooler thought they were fun to look at for a minute, but it's too big for a baby to hold onto, and you can't squeeze it to make the water come out, which us what the older one wanted to do. Kind of cool and well made, but it's not really worth the money.

The Plui is by far one of our favorite bath toys. It's unique and unlike all the "typical" squirter toys that everyone makes and also very easy to clean. My daughter absolutely adores it and thinks it is the most hilarious thing ever when it rains on her. I highly suggest for everyone with kids of all ages. Tons of fun! And it comes in handy for rinsing hair too, ha!

Great fun for my two little ones in the bathtub or in their water table in the sun! It is unique in their assortment of bathtub toys. They don't seem to be able to go a bath without it. I appreciate that the water drains very well out of the toy so no mold grows within it.
