Sturdy
We added to our pool deck and included 2 of these when pouring the concrete. The hole was about 14" deep compared to the rest of the 4" concrete. We added extra nuts und the bracket for safety. These anchors securely hold 10'x10' cantilever umbrellas.

Would recommend
Nice well build product. This comes with mounting screws for cantilever umbrella and compatible the WikiWiki 12 ft cantilever umbrella. It will also work for single pole umbrellas. I would recommend this over the others priced the same. I also bought a different brand for the same price. It will work but not as nice as this one and did not come with any other hardware.

I think I'm going to be happy
Product length could be a bit longer. 18 inches may not stand up in high winds even though I set it in two bags of concrete. Suggest 2 foot length would be better.

Concealed Umbrella Base
This item is a robust steel in-ground umbrella stand measuring at 15 inches in height and 7.2 pounds in weight. The mounting plate measures 6.3 by 6.3 inches and has holes that were pre-drilled to meet M8 thread requirements. You'll need a foundation made of concrete or dirt that is at least 15.5 x 15.5 x 15.5 inches large in order to set it up. I would strongly encourage you to use concrete to solidify a strong base. It is as easy as going to your local hardware store a picking up a post setting bag of concrete and mixing with water in a five gallon bucket. I would also suggest using a small anchor on the top plate to level as the concrete dries. My favorite part of this device is the ability to conserve space. The in-ground umbrella post is concealed beneath the ground while only exposing the mounting plate. As a result, there won't be a large base taking up space in your yard. It reminds me of the professional appearance of when a basketball hoop is cemented into the ground compared to the amateur look of a basketball hoop with a base. In my opinion it looks much better installed in the ground and anytime you need it, you may utilize it quickly and easily. By anchoring the system into the ground with concrete it will ensure the maximum stability of the umbrella. You won't have to worry about the wind tipping over a traditional base or taking off in the sky with a strong breeze. When the umbrella is not mounted to the plate, it is concealed and one wouldn't even realize the base was there.

Now I can put my umbrella anywhere.
This "In-ground Umbrella Base with Umbrella Stand Tube" is the Arnold Schwarzenegger of umbrella stands - strong, sturdy, and it'll definitely "be back" in your garden every summer! The "Universal Umbrella Ground Anchor" is so universal, I half expected it to start speaking in alien languages. It's like the United Nations of umbrella bases, welcoming all types of umbrellas with open arms (or should I say, open tubes?).

Good, heavy umbrella base - perfect for our backyard patio
I was looking for something like this, where I could stake the umbrella base in-ground, as we mostly use the umbrella that we use in our backyard patio to the side of it anyways. By using an in-ground one such as this, I was hoping to recover some of the patio space that goes to the rather large umbrella base that we have, especially since we are using it off to the side anyways. This did exactly what I was hoping it would. I was satisfied with the heavy, sturdy feel of the base; with the soil packed around it, this should be plenty good enough to act as an anchor for our umbrella, even in the fact of wind. Installation was pretty straightforward as well - hardest part was digging deep enough into the soil to allow for this base to fit all the way. After I placed the anchor, I refilled the area with soil, keeping the top level with the ground, then used one of the adapters to fix our umbrella to it.Overall, I would recommend this product!
