Works great!
The media could not be loaded. I have a 2015 Lexus GX 460. It technically has remote start through Lexus Enform, but that ran on 3G cell service. Once the 3G networks were shut down, it became inoperable. I purchased my GX used so never even had the chance to try the Enform features, but anywho. I had previously tried a remote start system from a different company called 12VoltSolutions. Unfortunately I was never able to get it to work because during the app setup, it kept saying an existing remote start system was detected in the car. Which I guess is true and would be the Lexus Enform system. I contacted them and they basically said there was nothing they could do, so I returned it.I came across this system from Start-X, and figured I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. It works perfectly so far and is able to start my GX without any issues. I've had it less than a week so I can't speak about how it'll perform long-term, but if there are any issues I'll definitely update my review. I plan on eventually getting the module that enables you to control it via an app on your phone, but that'll have to wait.One thing to note. On my first try, the system did not work. I thought I had performed the programming procedure correctly, but I guess I didn't. If it doesn't work the first time, there is a page in the instruction manual that comes with it that shows how to factory reset the module. Perform the factory reset procedure, and then do the programming instructions again. Also, it will probably help to read the programming instructions completely, and then reread them in set of twos. Meaning when you read Step 1, also read Step 2 before you do Step 1. Reason being is that there's one or two steps you have to perform while still doing the previous step. So it'll prevent you from releasing a button you still need to be pressing from the previous step. So just as an example, Step 2 may say "While still holding the programming button in Step 1". So if you didn't read that step already and let go of the button you'll have to start the programming all over. Just read it in steps of two.Also, after receiving my unit, a few days later I received a message from the seller saying I need to test my horn. Apparently there's a risk the horn may not work if there's a black cable disconnected in the steering column. I tested mine and it worked just fine. Just something to be aware of. Other than that, the install is very easy to do. Total time to install was maybe 20 minutes.Overall, I'm very happy with this system so far. Hopefully it'll be trouble free as time goes on.

Easy and works!
Earlier this year I bought the remote start for my 2015 4Runner and loved it. My partner has always been jealous so I finally bought him one for his 2015 GX460!Because I already had experience installing the one on mine, his took maybe 10 minutes to install. Programming the module was a little confusing at first because you HAVE TO plug them in a specific order (luckily it’s listed in the brochure!)Another thing to note, is that I missed one crucial line in the listing. You can remote start your vehicle just fine, but completely UNLIKE my 4Runner, the Lexus GX has a “factory security feature” that you can’t bypass: once remote started, the vehicle will SHUT OFF when you unlock and open the door. Causing you to have to start the car AGAIN. Although isn’t that much of a hassle, I can’t imagine how this impacts the vehicles starter now having to start the vehicle twice as often. (In my 4Runner with the equivalent remote start kit, the vehicle will ONLY shut off if I press the brake before I insert the key I’m ignition)Another cool thing is that we have two key fobs and they both work with only one module programming, so no additional programming is needed.There is another review on here that mentions their steering wheel controls do not work. We do not have this problem and all the steering wheel controls do in fact work.

Great way to get car warmed up on chilly mornings!
Installed unit in GX460 - easy to install took very little effort to do it neat and discreet. Works as advertised. The range of remote is 50-75 feet but adequate for starting car from foyer in my home.

An ABSOLUTE MUST for your GX!
BEST purchase I made for my GX!I could not have asked for better and the cost is even better!I already had remote start with the subscription prior to 3G no longer working. This allowed me to have remote start without a monthly subscription and took 15 minutes start to finish to install and that includes programming. It was that fast!

Easy install, daylight auto lights stopped working.
Very easy install, 30 min in the cold. Remote star works great, noticed the daylight auto lights stopped working, have to turn on manually - a little inconvenience. Plan on uninstalling.

Excellent company
The support at Start-X was very responsive to a pre-purchase question I had. I went ahead and ordered the product for my '16 GX 460, and was pleased to see that everything I had for installation came in the kit. Installation was fairly quick.The instructions weren't very clear though. However, the company emphasizes that the problems customers have with the device is in failure to program properly so I persisted, and finally installed the proper way. And voila, I now have remote start, no issues with the horn or steering wheel controls not working, just as the tech rep said. They even followed up with an Amazon message to ask if things were working fine. Really a great company for others on Amazon to emulate.So, just improve the instructions on how to install, and you've got a flawless way to add remote start to your car. Best of luck to y'all.
