I really love this take on chili crisp. The flavor of the mushrooms really comes through. For that reason it's not an all-purpose chili crisp; but where it works, it's fabulous. This is also not the crisp for those who merely want to sear off their taste buds. It's not one of the hottest available. For me, it's a wonderful balance of deep flavors and some heat....If nothing else, try it on eggs!

Absolutely LOVE the product but came poorly packaged, broke, spilled, and ruined the other contents in box. “Not available to return or replace” either. Total BS.

The media could not be loaded.  UPDATE: Amazon packaging was not right so the bottle arrived broken and Amazon has a policy of no returns for this product. Which stunk and I was disappointed. The Hotpot Queen team reached out and made up for it by sending a Pantry pack direct from their site. I was really just hoping for a replacement but they came through big with customer care. It's a delicious product with a team that cares intensely about their brand. That's not common. Thank you.This product arrived damaged and is not eligible for return. 'oh we delivered a damaged and leaking product, too bad, so sad'Shame because this is an excellent product, But was banged around and leaking when delivered.

I love this product, it is amazingly delicious. However, the seal was broken upon arrival this time. The was some oil on the exterior of the jar and I am not sure how long the seal has been broken, so we will not be eating it.

I really like the flavor of this chili oil and tried it in person, but when I bought it online the seal was already broken. I heard the jar pop but I realized that the seal was split opens and it was little degraded from the sauce covering it.

This sauce is VERY spicy, but absolutely packed with flavor. I have a fairly low spice tolerance but love some mala spice here and there. Because this sauce is so flavorful I can add just a little bit of it to make a delicious dipping sauce that is full of mala and all of the other wonderful umami and fragrant flavors without getting a big hit of heat. The other day I used about a tablespoon of this sauce with chicken broth to make the quickest most delicious mala hot pot broth ever with the perfect custom level of spice while not having to sacrifice on flavor.Side note, this container was padded very well in bubble wrap and was delivered fully intact. The jar is high quality with a metal lid, so any issues with broken jars is clearly an issue with delivery and not the product itself.

I received my order today (12/4/23) and it expired on 11/15/23.Separately, I read many comments about jars arriving broken. It was wrapped in bubble wrap and did not arrive broken.

It was love at first bite when I tasted this Wild Mushroom Chunky Chili Sauce earlier this Spring. The savory, umami flavor with a spicy kick at the end was unforgettable. I knew immediately I needed this in my life. In a sea of chili oil and chili crunch, this was uniquely different and something I haven’t seen or tried before. Hotpot Queen definitely struck gold with this Wild Mushroom Chili Sauce.I’ve already finished a jar; I ate it with grilled chicken, steamed fish, on top of ground beef bulgogi and my latest favorite, as a delicious addition to homemade Mapo Tofu. I highly recommend trying out a jar for your tastebuds to enjoy!
