King size Malm (ikea) + sleep number mattress + these slats = :)
I bought a king size Malm bed from ikea and didn’t feel their slat options would be supportive enough, so I ordered this. Honestly the box arrived a bit damaged, but everything inside was for the most part okay. The slats were super easy to assemble, I did it all by myself and it was pretty fast and simple. I had purchased a Zinus bed previously and was happy that the assemble of these slats was just as simple and easy. These fit inside the Malm bed, but it’s not as snug as I wanted it to be, so I actually cut a chunk of styrofoam from another package we had ordered and placed it in the gap between the metal frame of this and the edge of the bed frame. It works great, and will hopefully keep it from sliding, moving, or anything if the sort. I’d rather have it have extra space that needs filled than be too big and not fit, so no complaints. We have an old sleep number mattress, and these slats seem to be supportive enough. I know it’s not made for that kind of mattress, and technically the slats aren’t as close as is recommended, but finding something supportive enough, other than putting down straight up plywood, is tough. This does the job. The mattress is old, so I’m not worried about the warranty—I think technically the slats should be two inches apart or closer? This is over two but less than three (I didn’t measure). Using these slats with our sleep number mattress hasn’t been an issue. We’ve been sleeping on the combo for about a week and it’s nice and comfy! The slats at first seemed maybe a little flimsy? But once we put the mattress on, it feels nice and solid. I’m glad we purchased!

It's good. Hope it lasts.
Good so far. Measurements are correct. I had to use the support from my box springs as seen in the photo because the distance of my bed rails is 76", I knew this when buying but I needed this as I have a hybrid mattress didn't want to go any longer on box springs since that is not the correct support for a hybrid. Feels better already. Installation is pretty easy. The bars are numbered in the corner. Just match the nimbers together.

Loft dwellers look no further!
I buy a lot on Amazon and rarely write reviews, but I'm breaking character today because I think these frames are wonderful, and I want people to know about them. I was looking for a super-minimal frame in a loft with very little headroom, to get two twin mattresses off the floor to prevent mold. This frame ticks all the boxes for me. Bottom line: -Very simple, minimalist design. I think it actually takes a lot of work and design iterations to make something this simple and do it well. -All the support and air circulation your mattress needs with only a few inches of added thickness. Great for lofts and other low-clearance/sloped ceiling bedrooms! -These frames are sturdy and well built. They don't creak even a little bit, and provide good support along the entire mattress. -The edges of the frames line up nicely with the edges of the mattress - so if you need to pull two together to make a larger bed, that will work just fine. -Lots of little thoughtful details, like rounded corners and edges, and joints that fit together snugly. Neither you nor your bed linens will catch on anything. -Simple, straightforward, well written directions, with increasingly rare niceties like proper spelling and punctuation, subject/object agreement and idiomatic consistency. These details may seem trivial, but in a world where technical writing is increasingly outsourced to non-native speakers, those of us who assemble a lot of furniture will find these instructions refreshingly welcome. -Other nice features: industrial strength velcro holds the slats in place (IKEA could learn from this) and then pre-placed high-tack friction tape keeps the mattress from slipping. Genius! And the little ratchet tool they give you for tightening the bolts feels like a solid tool. Really nice touch. I really can't find any negatives - though I only just finished assembling them, and may have more to say after a few months of use, though I predict these will stand the test. Nice job, folks! Cheers.

Easy.
Easiest setup ever. Even came with a ratcheting allen wrench. Can't say 5 stars yet because we just finished putting it together.

Well made and easy to assemble
I bought the full-size model to complete my daughter's crib-to bed conversion kit, and it was the perfect solution. I didn't want to use a box spring since it would have made the bed higher than I wanted and this fit the bill perfectly. The frame is very well-made, sturdy and designed to last. I especially like the velcro on the sides so that the slats do not move and make noise like so many others. Assembly was a breeze and made even easier with the included mini socket. I wish more manufacturers would include those. Makes life so much easier. The quality is outstanding, and I have no doubt this will provide support for years to come. Highly recommended!

Very happy with the purchase. I bought this one in Queen size - fit perfectly in my bed. The frame is very sturdy, easy to assemble even by one 5'3" woman. The instruction diagram would make you believe that there is an assembling sequence - there isn't. I recommend to connect/insert horizonal sides into vertical ones at all corners first and then start putting in the bolts and tightening them. I attempted following the apparent sequence and ended up having hard time to connect the last two corners. I had to remove the bolts, connect all corners and then everything went nicely and very fast. It is great that there is a middle support bar. Otherwise, I would be worried about the slats. The slats are nice and velcro strip assures no movement on the frame. However, if you are heavy, expect the slats to give in under your weight resulting in the mattress bending slightly in those areas. Slats won't break though. I am 235lbs and I have no reservations getting in the bed, out or turning or even pushing myself up from the belly sleeping position with the hands. I am, however, talking about180 lbs in the title because if there are two of you, I am not sure if the slats will hold the weight. Middle support bar will help but not sure if it will save at 360lbs combined weight. Highly recommended solution for high mattresses and to lower overall bed height. My old box spring made the bed so high that getting in bed started to resemble vault or long jumping. I was seriously considering a step stool to get into the bed. Now I sleep much better and making the bed is a breathe too. Enjoy yours!

I purchased these slats to use as a "frame" for my baby's floor bed. We have it pushed to a corner of the bedroom, and surrounded the remaining two sides with very firm patio/couch cushions as a protection in case baby rolls around. It was super easy to assemble and probably great quality. Saying this because it's my 2nd Zinus bedframe. I purchased another one in 2019 and used it for a few years! I'm only no longer using that one because I moved. But it always provided fantastic support for my mattress, especially compared to some cheaper Ikea slats that I've used in the past that always feel like you're sinking in the middle. Although it should be noted that we are not heavy/large people (<130lb each).

I'm so pleased with this product. It is extremely well thought through. Easy to assemble thank to the little key provided with the package and a comprehensive manual. The elements are numbered to so you know how to connect them. The frame and slats have Velcro tape so the board is sturdy. All the Styrofoam elements are wrapped in plastic so there is no mess after assembling. Fits our child's bed perfectly. I couldn't expect more.

Just installed this Bunkie Board. Really easy to put together. A child could do it. Even comes with a ratcheted driver for the screws. Wood all consistent size and supports a full mattress 14 inches deep. All wood strung together with a Velcro strap that adheres to the reverse Velcro along the metal frame. The only issue that I encountered was one piece on the end of the Velcro strap was short by two inches so the wood piece was angled. I just cut the Velcro and adhered the rest of the Velcro attached to the piece of wood to the other Velcro on the frame. Didn't cause any real issue. Manufacturer should look into that. Mattress isn't sagging through the between spaces of the board supports. Don't hear any squeaking or noise at all from the board while moving around on the mattress. On the whole so far pleased with purchase. I guess the real test will be in a couple of years and if the frame holds out.
