It is a wonderful collection of Johnny Mathis's music. It takes you back in time. Such a crooner.His music was special to my generation. We danced to him, we fell in love with him and we willalways remember him. The CD is great.

I bought this CD for my dad's 80th birthday and he loves it and listens to it all the time.

Wow..I remembered most of the songs word for word from my childhood. My mom loved JM. She would play his albums all the time. That is why I purchased this CD. Singing the songs on my way to work. Thanks..

I bought this for my mom since she is a big fan. She absolutely loves the cd.

I was only 19 when Johnny Mathis hit the charts big-time. His voice was (and still is) magic. His style perfectly matched his material of the time. The songs were sweet and romantic when the transition to something much rougher and tougher was just around the corner. Today, the sweet sound seems strange, and the romance in his music a tad too sugary for my taste -- which surprised me very much when I first played these recordings. I believe that his voice would work with songs not quite so impossibly silly. Chances are I am quite wrong about this. Or just too old to remember what it was like 60 years ago. The quality of these recordings is quite impressive, however, and I'm glad I bought them.

Ich lernte seine Plattenaufnahmen 1962 kennen,durch Kollegen die ihn liebten,mir ging es genauso.Noch heute höre ich ihn sehr gern.Er hat eine gute Stimme,Text verstehe ich nicht immer,aber was ich verstehe, einfach gut und sehr sensibel.

Loved it so much bought another one for family member .Listen to it especially at bed time, soothing and relaxing.
