Fits older style holders
This product does fit! I ordered two other cheaper ones before finding this universal rod which, fit my 1992 tile, toilet paper holder. It is not metal it is plastic but seems sturdy and fit well!

It fit my built in holder.
My house was built in 1965 with in the wall tiled. The hole is 3/7 inch and this was perfect. New standard is way too big.

It's a good quality product, not cheaply made.
I wasn't sure if it was the right size but it fit perfectly. It was a little more expensive than I hoped it would be but it's a well made product and honestly what isn't more expensive these days!

Looks nice!
This roller looks nice and isn’t so stiff that I struggle to change the toilet roll (I have hand issues). It’s extremely affordable and has held up well.
