My 9 year loved this aunt farm. Fun, and the ants can function in it so well. Built is great and as well is the size. We would recommend this:)

Well thought out
We’ve had many ant farms over the years and this one takes the cake! My kids and I have really enjoyed watching the ants work in this one. It’s well laid out with great detail. The ants seem happier in this enclosure and with a little food they’ll live longer because this farm has a water supply.

Does not contain ants long! They are digging out!
The media could not be loaded. This was great for the first 2 weeks, my ants have done well, and only a few have died due to shipping but now after about 2.5 weeks the ants are DIGGING OUT OF THE FARM!! They are literally digging a hole in through the side. I have electrical taped the area, hoping to keep them IN but now I have to tell my 5 year old we have to let his ants go so we don’t have fire ants roaming our house. I’m not pleased 😩

This was the perfect gift for my grandson who has everything else. It was received without issue and in perfect shape.

Great escape
Bought this for my 7 year oldNephew. This was his third ant farm. Within a week the ants had chewed a hole through the side of the ant this ant farm and escaped into his bedroom. One of the ants even ended up biting my sister. Save your money, buy something else .

EASY SET UP, JUST NEED SOME ANTS!
My son has been wanting to do an ant farm and this one has a very easy and convenient setup. I do wish there was an extra water feeder as the pics do show two being used.Unfortunately it has been brutal heat this summer here in Texas and the only ants I can find are fire ants and no way bringing those in. I tried to order some ants but all warned that they wouldn't survive the shipment due to the extreme heat.Due to no ants currently, I cannot speak to that aspect (will update review when I get some) but can say the setup was a breeze and use of the item seems easy. I did have to watch the product video b/c there are no instructions inside the kit.NOTE: do NOT remove the blue divider (see photo) until you have the kit all setup and the ants inside!
