Works really well! I have found that some other generic brands don’t work as well as the name brand but this one is awesome. The low price is the obvious reason to buy it but it’s not a cheap product. I am definitely satisfied with the high quality and will be purchasing again.

These work great, and are significantly less expensive than Lactaid. Lactaid Original is 9,000 FCC per serving - BUT a serving is three caplets. Puregen is 9,000 FCC per single tablet. So, you get forty servings from a bottle of Lactaid Original (120 caplets), but you get 360 servings from Puregen. And they work the same. One difference is that Lactaid is a small caplet. Puregen is a small, round tablet. I included a photo of a table on a penny to give you an idea of size. They are easy for me to swallow, but it's something to consider if you have difficulty swallowing pills.

It's literally just a generic version of Lactaid. Practically a year's supply (or even longer than that, if you aren't eating dairy every day) for like $36 or so is insanely good. As my dad always says "you can't steal em that cheap" - which just means it's a really good deal

This is an update after a 2nd bottle. I ordered my 1st bottle a few months ago, and left a negative review. They were too thick and uncomfortable to swallow so I went back to another kind in a different shape. This time though, the kind I usually get had increased in price by $10! It was so outrageous that I decided had to suck it up and buy these again. Somehow, THIS time, the tablets are half the thickness they were the last time! They are indeed way to swallow now, as they claimed. I posted a photo the 1st time and also this time so you can see the difference in the thickness of bottle 1 and 2. Hopefully they have revamped the mold and they are always this thin now. I will continue to purchase these, unless my next bottle is thick again, in which case I'll update my review a 3rd time. Lol. Hopefully that won't happen! I ordered this large bottle this time instead of a 6 pack of smaller bottles I've been ordering. It saved me a cpl of dollars so I thought it was worth a try. On the product pages it says "easy to swallow", however I'm finding these much more difficult to swallow than the longer, thinner varieties. They are round but also fairly thick. I have to take at least 2 at a time and these are rubbing against my throat when I swallow even 1 at a time. It's making my throat irritated and not feeling worth it for drinking my coffee. I'm disappointed that I decided to spend my $32 on this kind, and wish I'd spent $34 on what I'd been getting before.

Very effective at handling lactose. Just one tablet works great for me when consuming dairy and the price is good. I often need two tablets of other brands.

Works quite well. Don’t usually need two. Don’t have to mess with unwrapping! Required dose is only one pill! Easy to swallow! Small size!

These are fantastic and so much easier to swallow than other brands (including the name brand). They seem to work just as well!
