First impression out of the box is that the bag feels solid, and the sand bladders seem to have more heft/substance/durability than other similar 2x velcro bladders.1 workout in, and well... its a sand bag it does what its supposed to do. However, just by throwing it around (over the shoulder throws) I've broken 3 of the inner handle cores (cylindrical piece of plastic inserted between the canvas and rubber grip.) I pulled the other cores out after the 3rd break, there's no need for them. Also, the buttons keep popping open. The zipper hasn't busted (yet) but without the reliable button reinforcement the (apparent) lack of a heavy duty zipper has me anticipating the break.EDIT: At max weight (full capacity bladders) the weight shift in the Medium bag is minimal and its rigid. For maximal / shifting weight I suggest getting the large bag and not filling bladders all the way.

We just received the bag and overall, both the bag and liner look to be well made and heavy duty. Sand was loaded into the two liners to within 2 inches from the top of the liner. The total weight of the bag with the two liners was 30 lbs, so it is about 10 lbs lighter than advertised. We'll see how it holds up after using it for a while. Also to note is that no instructions were included, so we filled the sand with a little room to spare based on reading about it on line.

So far so good. Looks and feel study enough. One gripe is that I just cannot fit 40 pounds of sand into the bladder.

Definitely a great quality product, cheaper than anywhere else and worth it
