So far the best soap to clean my makeup brushes. It has tiny bits that help with scrubbing the brushes clean. Love it. Its definitely very pricy. But purchasing it here on amazon saves me the shipping cost at least

This bar soap is amongst the best I've tried in recent years, and I've experimented with dozens of other brands. Up until a few years ago, I had been using Yardley bath bars for quite some time, after finally giving up on commodity "deodorant" soaps like Coast which don't last very long, leave behind residue, and don't really offer the properties of a deodorant. While I appreciate that Caldera + Lab is a small business brand, $4.29 per ounce for a bar soap is also by far the highest I've ever come across and you should know that there are many quality alternatives available at much lower prices. For example, Marlowe No. 102 Body Scrub Soap Bar for Men matches the 7oz size of this product, and comes at a cost of $1.11 per ounce at current prices, although I prefer Beast Light Scrub Bar Soap even though it's only 5oz and costs a bit more at $1.62 per ounce because it has a very refreshing, unique scent as well as the perfect amount of scrub, which contrasts with Caldera + Labs which touts its "exfoliating" factor even though I sense absolutely no scrubbyness when making use of it regardless of the fact that another reviewer here who claims that this product has a "nice exfoliating component". Some might be interested in knowing, however, that while Marlowe and Beast aren't natural products by any means, and Caldera + Lab seems to have the most natural ingredients, four of the top six ingredients in Caldera + Lab are also derived from palm: sodium palm kernelate, sodium palmate, potassium palm kernelate, and palm kernel acid.

This Caldera + Lab The Body Bar Exfoliating Soap is a decent size bar of soap. It lathers nicely and has a sandalwood scent. Some people like that scent and some don’t. So see who in you family does. This is a bit pricey but is a good size. Just rub the body bar around on wet skin avoiding the face and neck. There is Buriti, Acai, and Jojoba pulp and seed powders combine with pumice powder to make the exfoliate in the bar. That exfoliation helps smooth the skin. But you will need to rinse well to get it all off. Other ingredients help cleanse and moisturize. And the scent has upcycled coffee oil of all things. Is this worth the price? That’s up to you. But I like that this is vegan and contains beneficial botanicals. I rate this 3 to 3 1/2 stars as to me it is a bit on the high side for price.

This is a very nice soap. It has a pleasant masculine scent which is clean and not overpowering. It does not leave me heavily scented afterwards. It does lather nicely, and it cleans well without drying my skin. It is an exfoliating soap, so it has small scrubbing bumps built into the soap, and I am glad to say that this is a comfortable exfoliation, unlike some soaps where the bumps are quite sharp and even painful, this instead is comfortable and pleasant to shower with, without pain or discomfort from the exfoliating bumps. It is a relatively large bar of soap, not so large as to be difficult to hold, but nearly so. I am attaching a photo of the bar of soap I received. It is an expensive soap at the current price, and that would generally prevent me from recommending it, but if the price is not a concern then I can recommend this soap as it is quite nice. I hope some of this information might be helpful for you. I do like it enough that I am trying to keep it out of the direct shower spray in order to have it last longer, and it does seem like this bar should last quite a while.
