Like most people, my official Apple Macbook Pro charger has an annoying low buzzing noise when charging. Apple is adamant it's not faulty but since I keep my Macbook in my bedroom it was really annoying me. So, I started searching for third party chargers. I have tried so many now and this is the only one that works. Most of them either continue to have a buzzing noise or charges the Macbook at a snail's place. Whereas this Sumvision charger charges fast and cool. I've since been told that the cooler the charger, the safer it is as it shows that its efficient. (less electric conversion loss to wasted heat) and not stressed to the limits of its capability. This charger is certainly a lot cooler than the official charger. Not sure why so many other chargers can't seem to charge fast or cut out that annoying noise. I am assuming its due to cost cutting as forums seems to suggest the buzzing noise from the official charger is due to missing the electrical grounding. Overall. I am very happy with my Sumvision charger. No more buzzing noise and it chargers a lot quicker than the original. Its smaller, lighter as well. With 3 ports, it makes a great travel charger too.
