Celestron 94004 Deluxe Carry Case for NexStar 8, 9.25 and 11 inch Optical Tubes, Black

Plenty of room inside for a telescope OTA and some accessories (depending on size).Excellent all-around padding, however the pouch which holds the accessories may rub against the OTA so use with care.As usual with Celestron accessories, a bit overpriced, would be better value at 50-70% of the current price.

I bought this for my wife's NexStar evolution 8in, the case is a perfect fit with thick (approx 30mm) padding all round and a strap for additional security, the lid has an inner zipped compartment with pockets for eyepieces etc and with wheels it makes moving what is a heavy telescope a lot easier. It's not cheap but when you consider the value of the telescope it protects it's worth it.

Got this for my Celestron NexStar 8SE. I must say the case is all well cushioned all around. See the pic with the lid open. You can see how thick the foam padding around it is. Then the zipped away bit has 2 separate pockets with the flap covers (that have sticky stuff on them. Forgot what they are called lol) have pretty deep separate sections (with no padding inbetween). Between the 2 pockets as you can see there is empty space that you can use to store away some other stuff in their own cases. That all said, I must point out that the pull bar is very basic with no height adjustability. But considering I'm just a beginner who has insufficient knowledge to pad up an old travel bag to do the same job as this bag and that the Celestron NexStar 8SE is not really a cheap telescope, investing in a professionally made case like this is a safe way to go. Plus its all ready for travel at anytime :-)

Bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. This is a fantastic storage case for scope and accessories.

For well in excess of £500, I expected to find a completely moulded foam inlay which the scope sits in, instead I got a well padded case with 2 cushions, (which are not relevant for my 8SE) and a restraining strap; however, the case is sturdy and well padded. Had I have known what I was getting I would not have bought this, it is at a grossly inflated price and should be offered at £300 - 350 max. El 31 de diciembre compré este producto junto con el telescopio Celestron CPC 925 XLT GPS, que además es el telescopio para el que lo adquirí. A día de la fecha, casi un mes después no he recibido el telescopio. ¿Para qué uso ahora el maletín? He contactado para solicitar información varias veces. No he obtenido respuesta convincente. Mucho menos una solución.

Rempli son office mais attention ne permet que de transporter un tube de 9" se, pas de place pour trepier ou accessoires.

Fitted 8inh and mount!

Wish they designed this case with the tripod in mind. Fits my Nexstar 8CE tube and arm attached nicely. More thought needs to used in the accessories side can not fit my starsense autoalign with out disassemble the starsense first
