XMONDO Color Amber Mask – Semi-Permanent Red Dye with Bond Booster & Hyaluronic Acid, 8 oz

I have known about this line for just a couple months now after finding XMondo through Brad Mondo's internet content about hair. I just recently decided to try it as my red hair and dark roots with gray needed a refresh. I am so impressed with this product. It comes beautifully packaged and the container makes it easy to use a brush or hands to apply directly from the jar. The first thing I noticed upon opening the product for the first time was how amazing it smells. I used it as directed, and absolutely love the color, the shine it gave my hair, and how healthy my hair feels. I am fairly familiar with semi-permanent reds as I use them several times a year to boost my hair color and have had every single one start to rub off on pillow cases, clothing, and if I break a sweat other products were definitely dripping down my face and neck. My pillowcases are white and a very light sage green. I accidentally fell asleep without covering my pillow case one night and was pleasantly surprised to find out this color stays in my hair and goes nowhere else. My pillowcases did not pick up any color whatsoever. Another thing I like is the amount of product you get. My hair is down past the middle of my back and I only used half of the jar. Great product and I highly recommend this line anyone looking to add color or refresh color while also improving the condition of your hair.

As someone who’s only done box dye once and had salon dye since, I love this product! It’s very nice and left my hair feeling good after dying, not including how I bleached mind. Usually after bleaching and dying, my hair feels dry and almost stiff, but with this product after bleach left my hair soft and smooth, which I loved. I washed my hair with cold water every shower and then tied it up to take a hot shower, and the cold water preserved the color well, but recently after not feeling well, I didn’t bother doing that and hot water did fade the color a lot, which was expected. Looked very nice, loved the color and was very bright.

Brad Mondo, a YouTuber and hair stylist, has created XMONDO. It is a hair coloring mask that allows you to color your hair a vibrant bold color. I wanted to color my hair blue and his Super Blue mask is perfect for me! It has a pleasant light scent and comes in an 8 ounce jar. I have bought a second jar of this product because I love the effect it does on my hair. One jar has enough of the gel like substance for me to do my hair twice and still have a little more left to use again. The jar has a clear plastic insert to prevent the gel mask from leaking. Another benefit is that instead of spending 3-4 hours at a salon, I can now do my hair on my own in about an hour! Applying it at the beginning of October, I still haven’t reapplied as the color is fading so gently and the only reason I’m going to reapply is that my root growth is driving me crazy. I HIGHLY recommend this product without reservation! If you want a vibrant color that strengthens your hair and has a color bond and pleasant scent- look at Brad Mondo’s other colors!

This product is good. Smells good, isn’t damaging, doesn’t stain a lot, has good vitamins to support hair health, pigment is beautiful.. but after one wash my roots are already fading and I used cold water and color safe shampoo and conditioner. Everyone’s hair is different so it may work better for you.

I have a patch of white hair above my forehead that has been there for many years. I typically color it in a semi permanent dark brown, which blends perfectly. I decided to purchase Xmondo blue hair color for a fun experience. The color covered my patch effortlessly. I allowed it to set for 40 minutes. I got several compliments on the color as well as my daring attitude (I'm a 75 year-old man). Because of the large size of the product and the small area of hair, this product will probably last till my late eighties! The color fades significantly after two washes, but that's to be expected. It's still a great product and an excellent value.

Love! This is a great product to help a red / berry color last a little longer between salon visits. Smells beautiful, and leaves hair soft. You can use it on dry hair to deposit intense color, or instead of conditioner. Honestly its super versatile.

I had such high expectations for this because I'd always heard Brad Mondo products were great quality and lasted really well. Sadly I'm really disappointed in the longevity of the colour. I colored my hair on August 11th and only three weeks later, it's faded so much that it looks like I colored it months ago. I only wash my hair around once a week, always with cold water and a color protective shampoo and conditioner, so it's not that I'm washing it too often. When I first colored it, the colour was an amazing deep blue, but three weeks later, it's faded to almost baby blue. I previously colored my hair using Schwartzkopf Drops, and with those the color lasted for ages before it became this faded.

OMG if u have been looking for an amazing brilliant red to turn heads look no further this is ur stuff. The only reason I will not being giving this a 5 star review is becuse of 2 things how long the clout last I know they say the color fades very wash but even if u rn hot water over ur hair it’s fades much quicker second if I don’t predie my hair with a reg red box die ots won’t die my natural hair mind u not sue this mask was made for a dark brunette but hey I’ve made it work for me. Other than that this product has been my saving grace I live the color that comes out I’ve been trying to achieve that red my entire life who knew it would come in a hair mask if all things. Oh and not to mention this mask is sooo pretty it’s smells and and when held under the light it’s shimmery 🥰

Best semi permanent hair mask. My hair is beyond soft & the color is beautiful 😍 Great for damaged hair, great for everyone! I have psoriasis on my scalp & it didn’t irritate it , wow! UPDATE! Color is holding after 4 washes, amazing! My hair has NEVER been healthier

The color is vibrant and looks beautiful. I even colored my clip in extensions too and they look like they are reborn 🥰🥰

do not recommend. I have prelightened hair, and other than making your hair softer, the color doesn't stick. I figured for the price it would be a beautiful solid green, instead i got patchy random color and no color at all in some spots. Not worth the price for sure. Will not buy again.

I am a huge huge fan of Brad Mondo. I've been watching his videos for years. Brad, and a dear hairdresser friend of mine teach me a lot about hairdressing. I am so passionnate about it. I tried and learned alot about so many color products. I wanted to try one of his colors for years. I cannot believe how amazing the product is, the consistency is very very nice and easy to put on. But of course, it will stain and Brad always specifies to wear gloves. (Vaseline can also help not to stain around the head or any spot). Annnnnd. If you have a stainless steel sink for colors, it will save your bathtub believe me. 🌸 The colors bleeds a bit of course, but nothing too dramatic. Xx I wanted to also show the base i was working on (Picture result of the bleach). I had and usually go with Olia 1.0 Black box dye. ( I wish i could use better, but i am waiting so bad for the Xmondo Black color to be available in Canada). But i still did an amazing and decent job! ☺️ I kinda wanted to cry, because i never had in my hands a product of such an amazing youtuber and person like him and it felt like such a great experience, doing what i love. I have to also say that of course, after a little bleach session, the hair is a little dry, but the color hydrated my hair, and felt very soft and healthy. Once its faded, i absolutely want to try the blue. (I want to match with Inosuke in Demon Slayer. ❤️) The quantity is also pretty generous for the price, i know i can't say much because i only did the front of my hair, but if i would have done it, my whole head would of been fine with one. ☺️ ( I know my hair is still pretty short tho, but in case you are a bob girly with thick hair, you should be fine. 🌸) Thank you Xmondo!!!
