Great learning tool
I’m a preschool teacher, ages 2-3, this was awesome for my class. I only bought 1/2way through the year but look forward to a full year coming soon. The kids did learn with these. I have small classes6-8 kids and there are enough cards for each child to hold. I would ask who was holding the….apple so the could see and hold the letter.

Great alternative to Lakeshore
Really bummed there’s no M items but rather two sets of U. Hoping I can order replacements somehow.

Good alternative to more expensive options
I like this as a cheaper choice comparatively to the 100 dollar Lakeshore set or even to 60 dollar learning resources set. With that being said- a few friends of mine bought the learning resources set for their classrooms, and the quality is a bit better. The images on this product are pretty thin, but you could always laminate if you want. Also, you have to put the tubs together and the learning resource set is already assembled. In addition, the learning resource tubs are a bit cuter, but the lids of those do fall off easily and you could lose pieces.I also know some people with the lakeshore set, and that one is very, very nice, but I cannot justify the price.I already had collected a lot of trinkets that I use for letter sounds, so I mostly just wanted to use this as a starting point and then add my other trinkets to it. I think this is good for that purpose. But if you are looking for a higher quality product this is not it. There are also some small businesses that make versions on etsy, so if you are realllly looking to spend money LOL that may be a good bet.

Perfect Alternative to Lakeshore
If you don't want all of the pieces stolen by tiny people get this! I love these little cardboard pictures. Inexpensive and effective. They're durable and I can see this making a wonderful addition to our literacy center.
