Fails as a warmer but looks great.
Sorry to say that despite the hype of Mizuno's heat producing fabric it didn't work. I tested it on a chilly 40 degree day (windy) and believe me it did little to keep me warm. To compare - I wore New Balance's Trubase Chill Guard Mock running during the coldest days of this brutal winter and it never failed to keep me warm and was a windstopper as well.By the end of 2 miles I had to slip a hoodie on but was so chilled by that time it did little good. I had built up enough sweat that it should have warmed me (they claim it needs moisture to activate the warming feature.) I cannot imagine wearing this in winter! No way.It looks awesome however so I'll be wearing my NB's Trubase as the base layer and this on top next winter.I was disappointed it failed to perform as the hype led me to believe it would.*The picture of the Lime Punch color is not true - it misleadingly shows a yellow color - but it is NOT that color. It is - as listed - Lime - a bright lime color - similar to a hi vis safety green - which is very noticeable.
