Saucony Boys' Baby Ride 6 Running Shoe (Toddler/Little Kid)

I've always purchased Stride-Rite shoes because my little guy needs good soles - he's a running machine. A few months ago, while at the Stride Rite store, an employee recommended a pair of similarly-styled Saucony shoes, silver, which he adored. They were super lightweight, had amazingly gripping soles, and wonder of all wonders, he could put them on HIMSELF! Well, wouldn't you know? His foot grew. Silver Sauconys were not in his size. So we bit the bullet and I ordered the Baby Ride 6 pair. WHOA! He LOVES these shoes! He is uber excited over the sole being green. (I don't get it, but then I'm not 4!) The grip is great and he can put these on even better than the erstwhile silver shoes. I like them because, well, they aren't tacky silver! (Slight stripes of silver, but tasteful.) And I also like how much my son likes his shoes .... at an age where he is developing clear likes and dislikes, well, getting a pair he likes is fantastic, especially sight (for him) unseen. I am delighted.

I actually ended up buying two pairs of those shoes, as my son grew out of those within a season. It was my issue, as I bought too small size, but i was so excited to finally find shoes that would fit his wide foot comfortably, that I didn't return. Those look nice, are comfortable and lightweight. My son hates sandals, so he spent summer in those. On the negative side those are not very durable for an active child, but still I like those more than the New Balance shoes we had before. Also this is now my go to brand, as Stride Rite started making thier wide very narrow. I'd buy those again if they had it in my sons new size :)

I bought these about 5 months ago for my 3 year old son who has really wide feet and tends to get ingrown toenails if the ends of sneakers are wide enough. These shoes weigh almost nothing and the bright colors are really cute; he loves his new shoes. Only complaint I could have is that after about 3 months, the sides started to get small holes up where the widest part of his foot is, but I think it's really just from a little guy wearing them almost every day through all terrain/weather/mud/dirt/sandbox and whatever else he gets into. Just got our second pair, hoping to make them last a little longer by making him wear the older ones for the real dirty play.

This shoe is very light weight which is great for an active child. It is also very cute. I ordered a 7.5 extra wide and it didn't seem like an extra wide. My son is almost 4 years old and he has down syndrome. His feet are wide and thick. The design of the tounge of the shoe didn't allow his thick foot to fit in it very easily making putting in on and taking it off a difficult. I returned this shoe and ended up with the New Balance Toddler Extra Wide shoe which allows for an easy on and off for my sons feet. However, I still feel like it's a durable and worthy product.

I will start off by saying my son loves these shoes, and they fit very nicely. I wasn't impressed with the first pair I received because one of the shoes was obviously at least one size larger than the other. This has happened to me in the past with Amazon shoes, so I knew to look, thankfully, because I don't think my son would have known how to explain that once he started wearing them...it would have just been another pair of shoes he didn't like. But now that we got two of the same size, they are his favorite shoes, and very easy for him to put on and take off on his own.

My son loved these shoes. He has sort of wide feet with high arches, but they were comfortable on him, which is big for us since he's pretty picky about how his shoes fit. They were easy for him to get on and off himself. Despite only being held on with a velcro strap, they rarely came flying off on their own when he was running and playing. By the time he outgrew them they'd definitely started to show wear, but what you'd normally expect for a little kid's shoe that is worn almost every day for 5 months and have been washed a few times.

Most tennis shoes run a half size small so I ordered accordingly and they fit great! Much snugger around the ankle and heel which I love compared to previous Saucony models that we have worn! It provides a nice secure fit with stability. The new LOGO looks almost fake. It is similar to an iron-on look which made my husband ask me if I bought knock-offs. They are in fact an updated look for Saucony, well at least on this model. My 5 year old loves them and has spent hours just running around in them, he thinks they are super fast!

My son was born with one hand, so these velcro shoes allow him to put on and take off his own shoes. These shoes provide independence and have brought many smiles. It's an added plus they closely resemble his daddy's. I ordered the wide width, but they appear to be only marginally wider than a regular B width. I believe that's likely due to the fact that the elastic X-cross piece across the top of the foot is tight and strong. The gray mesh under the elastic cross and on the toe and sides won't be very warm in winter since it's not solid, but these do allow for good ventilation. These are easy to clean and highly recommended.
