This would be a great gift for any car enthusiast especially if they are into Camaro's.This book is hard cover and larger than your typical book at 10 x 11. It is perfect for a coffee table or office and the author (a former photographer of Motor Trend) does a great job of capturing the important details in the pictures. His write ups on the vehicles are great too and go in-depth but not to the point of boring you.He has several other books as well and I plan to get one on the Corvette and Mustang collectionsOverall, this is a great book for yourself or a gift for any car lover. The writer of this is clearly a photographer. The pictures are front and center. The writing itself is not fantastic, and often gets a bit confusing to follow. Pages end mid-paragraph and then pick up again several pages later after several pages entirely dedicated to photographs. Occasionally, the insert text describes something that isn't even in the photograph, weirdly. Also, everything in the Camaro's history is "highly regarded".So, the writing isn't great. The pictures are very nice though. It's definitely a great visual representation of the history of the Camaro. The pictures are quite vivid and there's a picture of just about whatever you can imagine. Want to see a picture of basically any engine that was ever in a Camaro? It's in there. Want to see random concepts and such too? Yep. In there.The book itself is very high quality. It's thick, it smells like a new book, and the pages are so thick that they nearly feel like cardboard. They actually feel more like photo paper than they do regular paper. I'd imagine that they are, considering this is a photo book. That also helps the pictures really pop.The dust jacket is a bit loose and likes to flop around a bit more than some dust jackets do. That's not the end of the world.I haven't seen any errors in the entire book. There's no ink splotches or blurred pictures. Everything is perfect.

This truly is a chunker of a book for Camaro lovers or for car lovers in general.Massive in size and weight. A true size for a coffee table book. I have placed my copy on my table beside another collection of car books that are special to me. Hardcover, it's sturdy and of good quality. Pages are beautifully designed and well put together. Content is comprehensive and formatted well. I have not read through the entire book but I have sat with it many times and have found it to be an enjoyable book to browse through. So many Camaro car facts and historical information. I personally know many people that I can see gifting this book to that would absolutely enjoy owning. It's just not a regular book.Pricey but it's worth it.

This book is perfect for any Camaro lover. It is full of beautifully shot photos of the Camaro through all years of its production. Many, many colorful photos of the car through all it's generations and models including specialty editions and other limited and rare versions. The writing isn't the best out there but it still provides a great history of the car even if things are a bit jumbled at times. This book is really about the pictures though. It's meant to sit out on a coffee table or bookshelf and be looked at every once in awhile. If you are looking for a gift for a Camaro fan, this book is perfect for them!

I've seen several of the books from the author, and even own another one, and was pretty excited to be able to add to my coffee table book collection, especially from this author. I haven't gotten all the way through this one, but so far it's pretty awesome. Has quite a few tech details for the true car nerds, and some great pictures if that's more your style. As for the physical book itself, it's the quality you'd expect for a nice hardcover. Good quality printing, nice page feel. Really though you're getting this book because of the quality of the writing, or the cool pictures. This book has both and is great for car enthusiasts, muscle car enthusiasts, or (obviously) camaro enthusiasts.
