After Searching for years for a Denim fabric that meets our mission criteria we bring you the defender-flex Jean by 5.11 Tactical. The FBI training academy adopted the original 5.11 pant as its training pant in 1992, forging a decades-long relationship that drives 5.11’s commitment to public safety and the first responder community. 5.11 Tactical began developing a more extensive law enforcement line in 2003. Our designers work together with public safety professionals to create gear that meets the needs of real people in the field. In 2012, we rose to the challenge of redesigning our women’s collection to create better fitting and higher performing options. Our women’s category has grown to include premium uniforms, covert clothing, fitness apparel and more Today, 5.11 is expanding into the outdoor and fitness markets with products like the Vaporlite short and the ABR trainer. Review: Hard wearing and functional. - I love these jeans and have had several pairs. They’re well made and hard wearing but the best thing by far is the pockets. They have the usual front pockets, coin pocket and rear pockets but there are two additional pockets by the hips. These additional pockets are the perfect size for passports when travelling, secure and almost invisible and as they are on the side the passport doesn’t get bent when you’re sitting down. You can fit a mobile phone, a radio, torch or small tools if needs be. The other pockets are plenty big enough for every day carry items without bulging. Great jeans. Review: An ok pair of normal jeans - These are nicely made and seem decent, but offer nothing special, they have additional pockets for rifle magazines, but they feel awkward and cumbersome when used. There's no stretch or give as with some tactical jeans, so not worth buying. Other companies make nicer pairs of tactical jeans and they are cheaper, I thought I would try these, but was disappointed as 5.11 make other really good kit.

Terrible
Jeans look well made no issues with quality or color, however they seem to made for a larger person as they are so baggy that I really don't want to go outside wearing them, there too long and too big round the waist, this is the issue with internet shopping for clothes, very annoying.

Great fit but not colourfast at all.
Good fit, but still marking light coloured furniture after many washes.
