I have always preferred my socks to be thicker and provide extra cushioning (something like a Terry cloth material), especially white/athletic socks. These socks are great. They have that Terry cloth interior and a thicker fabric. On to my two concerns. One the advertising stated how well they wick away moisture, and the other was the price. I have purchased socks before that advertised how they wick away moisture and they dried out my feet. After two weeks of wearing them, these socks do not! The price? Well, if they meet my criteria and have a long life, then they have value and are worth the price. As I mentioned before, they meet my criteria. I will have to get back to you in a few years to let you know how long they last. I can say that the fabric does feel "firm", I have a good feeling.

These are by far the most comfortable socks that I have ever had. Soft, comfortable, they don't rotate, great in cold weather and warm. They are expensive but, in my opinion, well worth it.

On top of being super comfortable for walking 6-7mi when I play golf, these are Made in the USA- very rare these days. I’ve worn Thorlos for decades and my Dad always loved them too for playing tennis. Thorlo socks have a sentimental element for me!

I’ve been wearing Thor-Lo socks for decades and I’ve always been happy with them. The prices sure have changed over the years. But, they last. The quality is great. They don’t shrink or stretch out. Because they are mostly cotton, the breath well. The fit is just as described. I recommend these socks with confidence.

I ordered these EX-Large size because the large size was just Not-Quite enough for a size 11 foot. They are padded in the heel and toe areas for comfort, but for me, size 11 they are too big. To get the sock from padding the toe area of the shoe, I need to pull them further on, which puts the heel of the sock too high. The Large Size is the same construction, but are Just-Not-Quite-Big enough. They are comfortable and fit better around the toes and the heel. I am waiting to see how these EX-Large will fare washing. The Large size appears to have shrunk a bit, and I'm hoping this will be the case for the Ex-Large. They are comfortable to wear due to the padding at the heel and toe area.

Finally thick socks that are actually thick! Very comfortable and durable. Will be ordering more!

Great, perfect for size 13.

Poor fabrication of one pair, stitching at the join came apart on both socks leaving 4 ever-enlarging holes. This problem only occurred on one of the pairs, and occurred after having been worn and hand-washed two or three times. First time in 30 years that I've had quality issue with Thorns running socks. Sadly I missed the return date cut-off by a couple of days as the default took time to manifest.

These Thorlo socks are not what I expected or are used to. They’re not thick on the heels and they slide in my runners. I will not order them again.

I’ve been running for over 30 years and Thorlo socks are by far the best sock for me. Good thickness and padding and they last a long time. I wear a womens’s size 7 and these fit perfect.
