First time purchasing this product and wow, how have I never thought to use this before.Yes it is a bit more expensive than other fuels, but having had bags and bags of bad lump charcoal in the past I was looking to try something differed.It is not high smoke, and the charcoal flavours are subtle, but it is great once hot and burns consistent and long.I’ve used a couple stick in my offsite smoker as a base to the wood fire and I’ve used it in my table top grill with a few small Lumpwood pieces for cooking steaks and it is fantastic.It does take a bit of getting use to when lighting & getting up to temperature but once you dial in the right way it is great.

Burns hot, burns long, what more do you want?Takes a while to burn, but if you've ever used binchotan, you'd know to start it in a chimney, wait 30 mins then cook.Please note, this burns VERY clean, only the fat that drips down will cause all of the smoke.
