Works great
Great rack! I’ve been using the 5 guitar rack for years and needed to upgrade. A+

Nice guitar rack especially at price point
I like the rack. I got the 7 guitar model - but I probably would not recommend using with 7 guitars as it'll be very tight. Note in the photos, I think the best arrangement of guitars will require a bit of "lean" or "angle" to let gravity work for you. Note that due to angled lean of guitars, you'll probably need to leave some space next to the wall for headstock clearance, especially if you have a bass. Padding is sufficient to protect the guitars. Some of the padding was a bit marred when I got it, but I just rolled it out of sight and all is fine. Should be easy to clean under due to open design.Assembly instructions were only a drawn picture, so take your time and pay attention to the bolts/washers when assembling. They look similar, but there are 3 different type bolts meant to be used in different places. It all went together well after a bit of trial and error. Overall feel is lightweight, so I wouldn't use it for gigging, but if you're just sitting guitars on it in your house or practice room it should serve fine. In the space of 2-3 regular guitar stands you can use this instead and store more guitars.

Instructions (and Review)
OK, the directions are useless. The square holes in the uprights go on top facing you (pin on bottom). The four longest bolts screw directly into the two bottom cross tubes. The two bolts with the square inside of the head go where the top meets the uprights. The slightly shorter bolts attach the base and the upright. There's a video by srm5436 (at the place with the red logo) that goes step by step. Review -- I have the 7 version and it's not as sturdy as the stand I bought over a decade ago. Since I don't need to fold it, it seems adequately sturdy but not as solid as I'd prefer. If you have more than one acoustic guitar, you may have to give up a slot or two. I have only one acoustic on the stand and putting it in the right most slot helps. The dividers are closer than my old stand so it's all a bit snug but I'll keep it.

Easy to assemble, Guitars sit snugly and safely!
It only took me about 15 minutes to assemble the rack, and my guitars sit on it snugly at a good angle, and the non-slip padding works well, makes me confident and comfortable that my guitars will be safe.

Won't buy again.
Arrived missing hardware to assemble. Box was beaten up and resealed. Very disappointed.

Not secure enough for expensive instruments
I put this thing together without much difficulty. There are no written instructions, just a picture of the rack and components showing how they fit together. The pieces are labeled so it's not that difficult to do. It feels sturdy enough and there's foam protection where it needs to be. I get the feeling the foam won't last but I think pipe insulation foam can be used if it does deteriorate. I decided to return mine though because I am not confident that it will hold my guitars without an accident happening like a guitar slipping off its support and hitting the floor. In my case the floor is tile so it would definitely cause damage. If you look at the photos I posted, especially the Jazzmaster copy you'll notice the body of the guitar rests precariously on the rear support. I can see it slipping off that support and hitting the floor. I wouldn't be confident putting any of my higher priced guitars in this rack. I don't even like the idea of my cheap ones hitting the floor so I'm returning this. I just can't be confident in it.

It does what it's intended
Line up you guitars to keep them organized but don't get in a big hurry...they are very close together so a ding or two is likely but of no consequence as long as you don't quickly rage grab a guitar with attitude. As opposed to 5 guitars I would use this for 3 and for the 7 guitar rack maybe use it for just 5. The foam used in construction does not appear to leave marks on the paint, however I haven't gotten it wet or sweat on anything that I put in the rack.....yet. I have some basses in there to and they fit just as fine as anything. This is of better quality than some of the others for sure.
